I was looking for something new and different to display on our front lawn at Christmas time and so I chose this red projection strobing santa light stake. It is made very well so I know it will last for many seasons. We also liked the size and color of the santa that is projected. Also, it is very easy to set up on the lawn. We liked so much that we are now looking for other holiday characters.

This is pretty silly as far as decorations go, but my kids sure get a kick out of it! Setup is essentially non-existent–just attach the stake to the bottom of the projector, stick the stake in the ground, plug in the projector and off you go! We’ve only tried it inside so far and the light seemed fairly bright, but I couldn’t pull it back as far as I hoped and still have a bright image. It truly is a “strobing” Santa–the movement is quite rapid. I found it annoying, but the kids liked it. Since it is inexpensive and so easy to use, I recommend this as something you might like to put on for a kick sometimes, though I don’t think we’ll us it as the centerpiece for our outdoor holiday decorating.

Would not work on dark color brick

This is a $20 light, so have realistic expectations. It is amazingly quick to install and project santa on the side of the house. It is likely to last for a few seasons, but is not the most robust construction. If you want to have a quick and easy display for the holidays this year, this will do the trick. If you want more than this, you need to spend more and work harder to get what you want.

Very fun on our outside home wall……only wish it had a choice of speed…is a bit fast like Santa is on speed lol but its ok 🙂 Pretty red.

Good addition to existing lights

Santa appears to be jumping back and forth with this light. Be aware,it’s only one color, all red. This really stands out though in the dark.

It’s a little too early to put this outside but I like to make sure that I have everything that I need way before the holidays start and the is a cute way to decorate your garage door or side of the house with this little Santa that looks like he his waving & saying ho, ho, ho! The further you move the light away from your surface, the larger the projected image will be. Easy to set up and even easier to store.

Unfortunately, in order to see the projected image, the surrounding area has to be completely dark. When used with other Christmas lighting, the projected image disappears from view.

I am starting the Christmas season early this year. Making a list and checking it twice. When I got the Red Projection Strobing Santa Light Stale from Home Depot. The box shows a large bright red Santa on the side of a house. Well, I was a little bit disappointed with the projection on the wall of my home. While the projection on my home was smaller because the cord is about 6 feet long and the photo shows Santa being projected from 15 feet away from the house. One other thing is that it is not a laser light but two red strobing lights, for best results they are set to come together at about the 15 foot distance from the surface they are projected upon. The distance that the unit is placed is important as it makes Santa look jerky, when it is not set the best distance from the surface that you aim the pair of strobing lights upon. When all the elements come together, the distance the strobing stake is placed from the surface you project it upon, is the most important element in setting this holiday image projection of Santa. For a frugal person that wants to add a projection of Santa to their Christmas display, this is one item to consider adding to your bag. Ho! Ho! and Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

This is a very strong Santa light that shows up well on the house…..it bright enough to see but not distracting inside. I tested the strobing and it is really cool. This is a quality light that I will use to replace a number of lights on the house….it doesn’t quite eliminate the ladder but close. I can’t wait until Christmas to put it out there.
