Nice and bright, When we install this outdoors during the Christmas season, our house is really gonna stand out from the rest. Came out of the box ready to install the stake, and just plug in. It is great that it can be controlled by the phone app, I can change the display as much as I want. The app downloaded for free, than plug in light, go to settings and look for the light, and than go back to the app and sign on, and there you go. Once I used it for the first time, it got easier. It has 61 different displays, and when it is outside, the house will light up lie I was using the bulb string. No more ladder climbing for me!!

SUMMARY: AN INEXPENSIVE ALTERNATIVE TO STRINGING LIGHTS, AND GREAT ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE GRANDKIDS!BACKGROUND: We discovered the joy of putting out light projectors instead of stringing lights for outdoor decoration a few years ago. The chance to try out the Lightshow SnowFlurry light projector was too good to pass up.FIT AND FINISH: I am a little concerned about the durability of this light as an outdoor projector, it’s a little light weight. But it appears entirely suitable for indoor use. The base is compact but fairly stable and can be used as a stake when the legs are folded or as a tripod with the legs unfolded.OPERATION: The light is designed for use via a bluetooth app. The app was easy to download and install on my Galaxy Note 8. The user interface was intuitive. The light uses a password to prevent dueling control issues with the neighbors, should they buy an identical light. With 61 different effects the light offers a decent selection of projection effects. We set it up in our living room and discovered a great secondary use, as a baby soother. Our 4-month old granddaughter loved watching the lights move across the ceiling!SUMMARY: A decent light for the money.PROS: Easy to set up and operate. A lot of display options.CONS: Might not be best suited for outdoor use

Love this unit. I’ve had it on a timer for about a month now and it’s been everything it says it is.

Love it super easy to set up and program with the app and like the small tripod stand.

The variety of colors and app connectivity are nice, a little pricey for just projecting dots. The device is fairly bright, however, I have a street light on the corner, adjacent to my house and the effect is somewhat washed out.

This light is much brighter and nicer than I expected it to be. The further it is placed from the surface it is projected on, the larger the flurries are. It can be used to create a festive atmosphere in a room or placed outside to project colored snow flurries over a large area of a building. It works better on a light colored surface. The tripod type stand allows you to place this light on any type of surface. This is a pretty good light that can be used for various occasions.

I have seen these in the stores and wondered how they really work. This one works great. It has a great selection of light shows and patterns with different colors. It was easy to use and download the app. It has a wide light pattern so it will shine for a long distance. I can’t wait to use this outside in my yard. You can use this inside too. It lights up a whole great room! It is well made and sturdy. It is also very quiet when it is running. Love the colors and love the patterns!

It is somewhat tricky to program, i had to settle for a display that I thought was acceptable for the holidays. The lights are not very bright the closer they are the bright but them the display area is reduced. It is however a nice looking display, I have seen a few cars slow down or stop to look at them. Overall I am please with them.

Easy to place in the yard, but I am still trying to set up the app.

Just a little blurry from not far away but a good light show with a wide field.

Easy to assemble and good zone coverage. Just wish it had a brace that would allow bolting onto trees, house wall/trims. Since sitting on ground makes it easy for thieves

The app is difficult to use. It seems you have to have more then one light for it to function properly. Not sure though. The price was fairly good and the product looked sturdy and well built. May work better for techy people.

There are many outdoor projection lamps for holidays and other occasions these days. This one is pretty good. It works well using the smart phone application and it’s Bluetooth connection to set it up and turn it on and off.The programming is a little limited compared to some of the higher cost projectors, but it is enough for a lot of uses. There is a pre-programmed setting that runs through various color changes and some variation in how the “dots” of light look projected on the wall. The other programming options let you select specific colors (or 2 or 3 colors at at time) and let you select the “effect” of the dots. All but one setting turn a lens to make the dots move up of down along the wall. One setting keeps the dots in a fixed position. The “effects” are limited to continuous dots or dots that fade in and out, sometimes one color at a time when you’ve selected more that one color. The white dots do look a bit like a snowfall by themselves, other color selections can match your lighting scheme as a nice accent. We are also thinking that this could be fun indoors for a party, sort of a disco globe that could light up an area for dancing. I don’t know well this will hold up in rain and freezing weather but the construction seems well sealed and the exterior is all plastic so it should last outdoors when the weather gets bad.
