   I’ve become a huge fan of these LED projection kits for the holidays. This one in particular is really neat because of the twelve changeable slides that let you keep things interesting through the holiday season. Just pick a nice spot to set up the projector and you will have a beautiful light show on the exterior of your home. I live at the end of a cul de sac so I can’t wait to see how my home looks in the snowy season in the evening with this kit.

   This projector creates a moving montage of indoor or outdoor blue/white winter season images. It has a selection of 12 different moving image projections each one including images appropriate to the season. There are images for snow, Christmas, New Years, and even a Happy Birthday. The projector is held by a small folding plastic tripod and powered by a 120 volt plug in cord. The light is bright and casts an image for 20 feet or more. Once on the tripod the projector can be aimed and set with a small sleeved ball which may be tightened for accurate image placement. The image slides are inserted in a slot in the top of the projector and covered by a snap down lid. There is no sound included with this projector so the images move and are projected silently.

   This is my first projection light and I like it. I am not big with holiday decorations because it usually involves so much work to set up the lights and to clean up and put away after the holidays. Who still has the energy to clean up after the holidays? Well I like how easy this projector is. Just push it into the ground and plug it in. It comes with 12 slides so I can change the pattern if I want. Wish the patterns can change automatically though.

   Easy to assemble, would have preferred more colors like red. Love the various lens that include Happy birthday, happy 4th July, happy new year. Good light show for price

   This illuminator is easy to use. Sturdily built, just set it at the range that gives the best focus. Multiple of these can make an elaborate display. When the stake cannot be set in soil – or you’d like the light to be higher, just deploy a can of sand to support the illuminator. The images are very distinct. Colors are only blue and white – perhaps contacting the manufacturer would reveal whether additional slides are available. The slide themes include Happy New Year, Happy Birthday, Let It Snow, etc. So the illuminator is good for much more than only the Christmas season. The slides are not labeled – and I had misgivings about marking them due to heat concerns; so I’ve stowed them in labeled bags. Rated for indoors and out, I’ve not yet exposed it to inclement weather; but I don’t see any reason it is not raintight. It is a convenient size and the current draw (of perhaps several of these) can be accommodated by conventional extension cords at reasonable landscaping/decorating distances.

    We wanted a way to show the real reason for the season and this really delivered. Looks great and much easier than standing on a ladder in the cold to string lights! Very cool.
