Projection range is minimal, not bright enough to overcome the street lights.

Easy to set up and thought the message, the display and music were a nice trio.

These are very simple to set. You can use the stakes as they are and stick them in the ground, or use them as tripods indoors or oudoors and just set them down. The mounts make it very easy to adjust them as you can move the projectors up and down or left to right. They are fairly bright. The light show is pretty cool. My biggest complaint with these is that The box says timer included. No instructions are included with the so called built in timer. I gave up trying to figure that mess out and tried an external timer. Thats no good because when the external timer turns on, the music plays full volume. My neighbors would not like that. It does’nt remember what setting you had it on last. Here is a video of musical light show playing. My camera makes it look dark, but it is not. https://youtu.be/vYiY1QYkhXQ

This is a fancier multi-color whirl-a-motion static merry Christmas lightsync with sound projection stake by Lightshow. This one include threee lights and has those lights synced to music that it plays. There are six built-in songs and a built-in timer. It will project up to 45 feet and is easy to install mounting on adjustable head stakes that you can push into your lawn etc. A great Christmas show.

seems good so far but would like better if music had bluetooth for pandora etc., 10 or so songs programmed with unit get old quick

I enjoy outdoor Christmas decorations. That being said, there are things I like about this setup, things that are ok, and one thing I don’t like. What I like about the unit: – It is easy to set up and doesn’t require getting on a ladder- The projection is bright and uses LED lights, – It has 3 projectors which allow for the images to be spread across a wide space, – The stakes can be used as a tripod (indoors) or pushed into the ground, – Sound volume is adjustable and it can be run without the sound to avoid annoying neighbors,- It syncs the background lights to the music or can be run as a steady beam (without syncronization). What I don’t like:- When it first comes on, the sound comes on full volume and there is no remote control to turn it down. Some limitations:- It is not able to be synced to any another other music than what comes with it (6 different song sets)- The one I got only had one display message “Merry Christmas”One other thing to note, online it shows a three pronged plug…mine came with a polarized two-prong plug. It is rated for outdoor use.

This illuminator set is impressive and sturdily built. The three light heads can be arranged to yield a panorama – particularly nice for projecting onto a wide facade. One also can choose between a compact “busy” display and a wider setup with the floating ornaments more or less flanking the message. Colors are vibrant and well chosen. Unfortunately I discern but one message available – I will contact the manufacturer to find out whether others are available. If they are, then multiple of these can make an elaborate display and provide other seasonal themes. The music is a great feature. So I preferentially will set this display close to my entrance. Synchronization between the music and the light display lends a highly professional touch. The selection of tunes, while of varied genres, is appropriate and lively. Also, the repertoire of music further convinces visitors that your decor is upscale. Wiring between the master and slave units is convenient – only one power connection is required. The speaker is rated for outdoors; but my “belt and suspenders” mentality may prompt me to place it under a ‘frost canopy’ like that use to cover small shrubberies. The units are of convenient size and the current draw can be accommodated by conventional extension cords at reasonable landscaping/decorating distances.

Easy to assemble

Good system with good results. Minimal assembly. This set comprises three units, one master unit and two satellite lights, so you get three units that each project images. The wires are about 8’ long to the two side units. Each units sits on a small tripod that has a very clever mechanism that allows the tripod to be folded flat. A spring pops one of the legs out when released and the tripods provide a small ball head on which the lamps attach. It allows a fairly good range of angles to be set for the lights, although the larger of the three units can overbalance easily. The center light displays a static white cursive “Merry Christmas” in the center of its field. In addition it also projects two green, two red and one blue Christmas bauble images. The two smaller units each project three red, green, blue and white balls. One can select a steady (non blinking) projection of the lights without music. One can also adjust the volume of the music, using button on the main unit. There is a pause button to stop the music and also ‘previous song’ and ‘next song’ buttons. There are six songs included, and I can imagine one would get sick of them really fast if one could hear them. They are:Jingle bells (big surprise there!)Deck the HallsWe wish you a merry ChristmasReligious medleyDance of the Sugar plum Fairy (with funky sounds!)Holy NightThe music is self contained. (In other words you cannot play your own music through the system.)It is somewhat modern. There is some synchronization between the projection of the lights and the music but it is not always clear. When the system received power (120V), it defaults to playing sounds and lights, no matter what setting was selected before. This means that if you place these on a timer, and do not want the sounds, you will have to go and mute it every time it comes on.The images swirl about and project a reasonably bright image. These are not lasers so don’t expect very long ranges. Personally I find the images rather kitchy and much prefer to shine the lights up into trees to get a multicolor dynamic lighting effect instead of projecting them against a wall. One caution label on the cable seems to be a generic one for strings of Christmas lights. It claims to be rated 6.5 Watts in one place and 22 Watts in another location on the same label.Depending on the function (sound and volume) selected, it draws between 9 Watts and 21 Watts.Made in China

I would recommend this product to anyone who is into holiday decorating. This product has music synced to the lights which makes it fun to have in your display for others to enjoy or just for your family to enjoy. You can change the colored pictures but are limited to what is on the unit and same with the music choices are limited to what is on the unit. I would recommend that if you have bad weather then do not use outdoors the unit says can be used in doors also.

I debated between giving this 3 or 4 stars, rounded up to 4.Good: Very easy to use and setup. Bright. The stakes are dual purpose, you can use them as stakes or if the ground is already frozen: the stakes expand into stands. See photo.Note: The system comes with its own six songs. You can’t select them or sync to your own music. Not so good: The box says there is a built in timer. I couldn’t figure out how to use it and the directions didn’t reference the timer. Note if you use your own timer, the music comes on full blast every time you turn it on. I live in a very environmentally, electric car driving conscious neighborhood. Having your Christmas lights on during the day is bad form. The default full volume is too loud for the speakers, they max out and don’t sound very good. It you have the system on a timer, it won’t remember the volume from the night before. One motor already sounds like it is wearing out.We will likely use this for 2 or 3 seasons.I received this MULTI-COLOR WHIRL-A-MOTION STATIC MERRY CHRISTMAS LIGHTSYNC WITH SOUND PROJECTION STAKE for free to write this review.

We are very pleased with the lights. They are heavy-duty and easy to assemble and install. The volume of the music is adequate and the clarity of the laser light show is very good. It has multiple selections of songs and light displays of Christmas ornaments with the words Merry Christmas in the center. The mechanism to adjust the stake that goes in the ground to hold the lights in place is very easy to adjust the angle. The unit holds clarity even at a distant far enough to cover the whole front of the house. The only drawback is you must select the music and light sequence from the main unit. It does not have a remote control nor is it controlled by the phone via Bluetooth. It does have a timer which is convenient so you can have it come on and off at certain times.
