   So far we have yet to use the LIGHTSHOW 12.5 FT. 12-LIGHT CHRISTMAS COLOR CHANGING LIGHT SHOW STRING C9 SHAPE SET, because its’ not Christmas yet, but we did order for hanging when its time. These traditional C9 Christmas lights are indeed LED lights. The lights are on the larger side of xmas lights, about 2 inches in length. This set of lights has a pre-programmed setting and change color and flash on their own based on the selected setting. Will update review after we’ve used them for some time.

   This is a 12 foot string of big C9 bulbs. They are suitable for both indoors and outdoors and may be strung end-to-end. They come on a green wire and have a housing that is bell-shaped, with a holly berry motif, so if they are used indoors even the housing is decorative. All of the bulbs are color changing, with an alternating series of red, white, green, blue, and unusual pastel mixture, and other variants. with solid lighting, chasing, and flashing modes. This does not seem to be customizable, so if you don’t want flashing lights, for example, there is no way to turn off that feature. The LED lights are bright and attractive. I’m not sure how well they will hold up year after year; obviously, they will likely do better if treated gently rather than yanked off the tree at the end of the season. Likewise, I’m not sure how well they will do in sub-zero temperatures or in very wet locations. The usual care for light strands would be advisable. Overall, a pretty set of big lights with some nice unusual variations to hold your interest and keep your holiday display looking fresh.

   I love this light set! This is a very easy to install and use light set for decorating for the holidays. All you got to do is plug it in and the light show begins. The lights go through multiple different sequences, fade, chase, color swap, twinkle and many others. The whole light set seems very durable and should last for a long time, indoor and out door use is a plus. Will connect and operate other Lightshow lights.

   Traditional Christmas light shaped LED lights. The lights are on the large size (about 2 inches long, see photos) and have some heft to them. Interestingly, unlike “old school” incandescent light strings, these lights DON’T have hooks to hang them by as part of the lamp holder. You will need to use some type of hook or clip (not included) to attach these lights where you want them. If you’re using them on a tree, you could just lay them on the branches because these LEDs don’t get hot like old incandescent lights.The lights have a pre-programmed lighting sequence that is apparently not modifiable. The lights change color and flash of their own accord. If you want static colors, this could be an issue.PROS:- Don’t get hot like incandescent lights.- Large lights good for outdoor use.- Solidly built.CONS:- Lights are rather heavy.- No clips on lights for hanging them, must use separate light holders (not included)

   The LightShow 12.5 ft. 12-Light Christmas Color Changing Light Show String C9 Shape Set that we ordered arrived quickly and was undamaged. We intend to use it to create a festive wonderland light display because of its colorful, synchronized light show with 12 spectacular lighting effects. We like that we can connect multiple sets to add holiday cheer throughout our home. It is perfect for any indoor or outdoor holiday scene.

   This LED light string is about 12 and 1/2 feet long. The lighted section is only 11 feet. The lights are LED so they should last for a long time, and are not as fragile as some of the older string lights.These lights change colors, flash, and twinkle, but there does not appear to be a way to specify a color, or pattern of lighting. It’s either on or off, there is no switch, or anything.These lights are indoor and outdoor rated. And the whole string only uses 12 watts. The power supply has a built in set of fuses that are only 3 amps, and are replaceable if they should blow for some reason. And there is an extra fuse taped to the plug.I would have given this a 5 star rating, but I didn’t read the product description thoroughly enough to see that you can’t choose a color or pattern for the lights. The bulbs themselves are big and clear, the lights inside the bulbs are small, and change colors and twinkling patterns.

    It’s amazing what can be done with LEDs ! The pics don’t do the light show justice but it will give you an idea. The lights are really much “clearer” not so fuzzy. I’d like to call the pattern of flashing random but it’s not, more like all the mathematical variations possible. The downside, it’s only 12.5 ft long. I’m sure one twice as long would much more mesmerizing and visually effective. And there’s only about 12 inches between the plug and the first light. Doesn’t allow for mounting variations unless you add an extension cord.

    This LED Christmas light kit has twelve lights, pretty nice looking plastic outer diffusers and standard wire and plug. All in a string that can be plugged into other strings for longer runs. Very nice looking and colorful..the color changing is fun to watch. You get a little over twelve feet so each light bulb is approximately one foot apart. Christmas will be prettier this year. Recommended.

    The picture with the lights show each bulb a different color which they are not. They are however beautiful and as says 12 light per12.5 in strand. They alternate colors at approximately 2-3 minute intervals from icy White to green to icy blue to red ! Love the color show. You can add multiple strings together to cover a larger area outside. These are for indoor or outdoor use so I can decide the where closer to Christmas! You won’t be dissatisfied with the quality. Bulbs are not fragile so not easily broken. Cord is heavy duty as needed for exterior use.
