I purchased five of these for my holiday display this year (three white, and one each red and green). They are incredibly easy to setup, and produce a nice calming effect, like water rippling. The effect works very nicely when pointed up through tree branches, or against a white surface (like the front of a house). It is a subtle effect, but looks great, and is a good product for it’s price point.

A nice simple spotlight for enhancing a tree or small area – stakes to the ground and plugs into standard 3 prong 120V line. Great for a small area you want to enhance in addition to other primary decorations. Very simple to install – just plug in and turn on and it works. Simple as that. This can be used all year long since it’s not really Winter Holiday centric, but could be used for that purpose if you like

Simplicity at its Finest! Absolutely Love the Affects! LED Lightshow projection kaleidoscope comes in 2 pieces, screw the stake into the adjustable bracket and plug in. Nice 6 ft 2 prong cord allows a good distance from area wanted lit up.Can be used indoors, or outdoors, the white coverage would be beautiful for a wedding, baby shower or Christmas resembling an abundance of white gradual moving snow flakes. Projects up to 20 feet away, the closer the more vivid. The photos below are done in the house.I actually have one kaleidoscope in the white blanco and mixed it with a multi color in one of the photos.Haven’t looked through a kaleidoscope in years, brings back good memories.

Great product with multiple uses, Halloween or Christmas. Only drawback was that they sell out fast!

This little kaleidoscope projector light was made well enough, had a good price, and probably would work well on small trees/bushes, or if no other lights were used; but I had hoped to use on large oak trees and I have other Christmas lights nearby that interfered. Kaleidoscope effect diffused too much to have the look I hoped for. To capture the tree, it only looked like I had a slight wavering reflection off of water. Perhaps the multi color would have looked better too, but they were out of those and I tried the white light instead….

Love the water patterns effect that the lights cast for year-round landscape mood setting.

Pros- This spotlight adds a tremendous visual punch to any display, landscape or tall interior space. I like the white and red for use in several different holidays..Halloween, Christmas, etc. Just one creates very effective imaging on bushes or garage door, adds depth and action. Gives a serious wow factor.Con- Test these for at least one night to assess whether a return is necessary. Out of 9 lights, one spin function did not work right out of the box, another is making a slight noise and I will return anticipating the spin function to fail soon. Otherwise a great value for much more visual impact. Most I’ve had running for 2+ weeks with no problems, including sprinklers running on them.

This projector puts out a gently shimmering pattern, kind of like a lake of ever-changing ripples. It’s also almost completely silent. It’s a nice supplement to an existing Christmas scene, kind of an overlay of snow-like activity. Cast it on trees and you’ve animated them with crystal clear lights without hanging a single string. Cast it straight up on trees, and it’s kind of like snowfall. Affordable and easy, it’s a nice addition to your existing decorations, whether you’re all Santa, Nativity, or a mix of both. It’s a gentle and peaceful effect, unlike some of the more garish strobbing products that make our house look like a Las Vegas casino.

I am enjoying it! It looks like a giant pool reflecting ripples in the water. Not super Christmasy but still cool.

I purchased more than 1 of these lights, after Christmas sale, for the sole purpose of getting the illusion of shimmering lights reflecting off my fence from my Buddha head reflecting pond. These are on a timer for about 4 hours each night. The lights did the trick! Looks great! What do you think? I purchased them while on sale and hopefully plan on acquiring more when they are again available in the stores. Great they are LED lights that come with an additional fuse and do not pull much electricity. The are not as effective in the projection of the lights at a long distance only I would say within 10 feet.

The product was easy to put together and deploy outside. We had hung icicle lights from our porch, but wanted something on the garage face of our house. We thought an LED projection would be perfect, but this model was not the best one for our application. The rotating crystal ball lets light out in nearly 180 degrees meaning that the image projected is not concentrated. The design barely shows up on our house at the recommended 20 feet away. Also, when they say 20 feet, they mean 20 feet. Any further away and your decoration becomes a glowing orb in your yard with nothing projected. It will work for this year, but I highly recommend getting a different projector with a shroud or one that paints concentrated dots (like hundreds of laser pointers) on the house to get them to show up better.

This item is well constructed and to this date has operated trouble free for 64 hrs. The light shines a long distance allowing you to light up your yard and even the house. I liked it so well I have since purchased another white one and a green projector. Awesome!!

Spinning motor did not work right out of the box. Bought 3 lights, and one was defective. Going back for an exchange. Defective spinning motors seem to be a theme in the reviews for this product.

I’ve seen items like this as part of Christmas decorations, and thought I would give it a try. It works as advertises. I’m not sure how I feel about the image and pattern – it might wear out its welcome after while.. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product – it is made with cast aluminum, looks to be waterproof, and the cord is sealed and substantial. I’m looking forward to the winter holiday season.

No assembly really needed, just plug n watch. Its a cool affect its like looking thru those kaleidoscope tubes with the crystals. I actually used these for a indoor holiday christmas party and aimed one at the ceiling and the other at the wall, room was fairly large and it gave a cool affect like a snow fall.I have tried it in a smaller room in the house and the entire room lights up with this, even the front of the house has a cool effect as well. It sure beats paying that 129 bucks for a simple laser light. The affect is much different but works great! Ran it for 6 hours and still cool to the touch

I was for almost 2 years looking for white light projection and now I found. I’m very happy with the product I love it.
