Easy to assemble and setup. We used it as lighting for our Halloween graveyard and it provides a spooky look to the gravestones.

Very well made star light. Makes a very nice pattern on the house that looks like a cross between shimmering stars and ripples in water. The device is waterproof and hardy plus a good electrical cord – I doubt it will be affected by sitting in bad weather. As a precaution I always use plug cover when connecting extension cords to light strings and spotlights. Only costs $5 and my cords last season after season. This light is for the side of the house and it really adds to the view as you drive down the street.

I wanted some movement in my Christmas layout so I saw these projectors…I tried the blue one first and was nice..but not as bright as I wanted so I bought the white projector. I did not want the project to show…so I built a replica gas street pole light and concealed the projector in the ploe about 5 feet from the ground. It works well.

I was looking for something like this to add to our holiday display. It works well enough to be pleased with this product. Just wish it showed up a bit more dramatically. The street light next to our house may be minimizing the effect…

Bought this 2 years ago in red, clear and blue. The blue one I like the least, the other colours are great. The only downside is that they cannot go on a timer with features because then they will not turn. So I had to go and buy another timer once I figured that out.

Bought this yesterday, i am so happy, it lights up the whole front of my house and creates a beautiful design. Amazing price, well worth the money!

If you are thinking of uping your game a little this Holiday season by going to ” Projection Kaleidoscope Spotlights” this might be the place to start. This light is as basic as they come. You have a cord attached to a light, w/ LED bulbs inside that produce a swirling effect that can be attached to an included stake. The cord is approx. 5′ 6″ long ( It is a 2-prong plug ). It can be used inside or out w/ or wo/ the included stake. Plug it in and it lights and swirls, un-plug it and stops. Being basic you can get creative as far as how and what to mount it to, or how about using a timer to control it. In testing, ( I have a white and a red-green-blue), my neighbor came over to ck. it out, he thought they were cool and asked it I would recommend them. I told him yes, and that they were basic and he could get creative, or just stake them and plug them in.

I set this lightshow up in early November and found that although the light came on right away, it took about 5 minutes for it to start revolving. It was -27c here yesterday, and it took about 15 minutes for it to start turning, It worked perfectly until I shut it off 6 hours later.Perhaps the poor reviews the product has had were because the customers did not wait long enough for the light to warm up.

This light worked well and was easy to install. Gives a nice subtle light into our low trees.

The light projection is not as bright as I expected. You can still see the movement of the light designs. It’s very subtle.

The lights were adequate. I like a warmer light. Leds tend to be cool.

It made the house look like it was covered in ice that was shimmering in the moon light

The spotlight produces a nice white light. So far it has worked every time I started it. Some have complained that the motor stops in very cold temperatures. Living in North Carolina I have not had that issue. The light is a simple swirl effect which I find is not too overpowering for my Christmas nativity. The color appears to be a cool white. The stake it sturdy very hard plastic and should last a few seasons.

Purchased five of these last year. worked great until I took them out again to use this year. Two of five stopped working after a week. It spins but the LEDs won’t turn on.

We bought this to put up for Christmas this year. We love it so much I’m trying to acquire another, but it seems all stores are sold out 🙁 I’m not sure why everyone else is having so much trouble with theirs. We’ve had ours running 6 hours a night for the past 2 weeks with no problems at all. It’s even been snowed on and in sub-zero temperatures in that time.

Well I read all of the reviews and was hesitant on buying any projection product.I live in Texas and the weather is anywhere from mild to very cold, dry and wet at anytime.I purchased two to start out with and moved them all over the yard to get the effect I wanted. I ended up putting four and they are about 10 ft. from the front of the house to get the effect I wanted. House is about 50ft. wide. They have worked perfectly for four week and @ $20.00 each and with Home Depot return policy I am very happy with the purchase.I have shrubs and I could not get the effect on the house just above the shrubs so I installed them on 2″x2″ wooden boards to raise them above the shrubs. The effect looks somewhat like snow flakes. It appears the reviews may be skewed.

I ordered this projection kaleidoscope spotlight to use principally in our basement recreation room for background festive lighting. When I unboxed the unit I was impressed by how well-built it appears to be. The spotlight comes with a ground stake for use outdoors. The U-mount to which you attach the ground stake is also designed to allow mounting to a camera tripod. I have a miniature 61/4″ tripod that connects perfectly to the unit allowing me to use this light indoors without any issues. The instructions are well-written and easy to follow. See attached photos. Well done Gemmy Industries Corporation!
