   Beautiful for landscape lighting. I use them every night as permanent lighting. Installed on top of patio columns (blue, white, blue, white), Beautiful! Wish it was available in electrical dept. rather than only Holiday Seasonal.

   There are plenty of negative reviews on this product, as you can see. However, I am one of those people who tries to get to the bottom of things before condemning anything. I, too, bought the white version of this product with high hopes. When I first plugged it in, it worked great. When I placed it outside, however, I began to have the same issue as everyone else: the thing wouldn’t spin. So I tested out an idea; I found that the motor starts to fail in cold weather, esp. if it is REALLY cold out there. If you don’t mind doing this, this is the remedy: tap (or hit) the black base of the light to get the motor started right up. I tried it multiple times, and it worked every time. However, if you live somewhere cold, and you really don’t want to deal with this scenario, or you wanted multiple lights and can’t “maintain” them all the time, skip this projector. Otherwise, you can’t beat the effect: it’s fantastic.

   If you prefer understated holiday lights, rather than a Griswold-style extravaganza, you’ll like this light. I am not a fan of over-the-top, flashing, multi-colored displays and really like the effects of this white kaleidoscope light. It reminds me of light reflecting off of water. It’s not super bright, and for best effect should be installed less than 25 feet from the surface onto which you’re projecting. And the projection looks best on a flat surface without a lot of features so you can see the subtle swirling patterns. My only real complaint about the light is that I wish the stake was stronger and I am not sure how durable this unit will be (bulbs can’t be replaced).

   Recently bought this light and other color models. All colors adorned my residence for recent event. Guests enjoyed the festive nighttime atmosphere. I would highly recommend this spotlight and others for any holiday event. All lights have held up.

   We like it. Beautiful display of variety colors on the house. Easy to install. Nice change from the usual decorations. Originally I was concerned if we would see the lights as we have a streetlight in front of our house, but it was still bright and colourful. Price was reasonable as well. Happy customer!

   The spotlight produces a nice white light. So far it has worked every time I started it. Some have complained that the motor stops in very cold temperatures. Living in North Carolina I have not had that issue. The light is a simple swirl effect which I find is not too overpowering for my Christmas nativity. The color appears to be a cool white. The stake it sturdy very hard plastic and should last a few seasons.

   What a fun addition to any occasion or event! I chose this 10 inch projection Kaleidoscope Spotlight for one reason, it is WHITE and will compliment any décor or party atmosphere. I honestly didn’t even read the instructions, I did not need to.It is very easy to find a location for it (I placed it into a potted plant in the bedroom) and then just plug in. Of course, it would work well outside as well pointing up into a tree or aimed at the house.
