This LED light is made in the style of the “fire and ice” spots that are typically available as only a single color per light. Multiple color selections are available including three colors at the same time. The kaleidoscope effect makes warmer colors look like they’re “burning” and colder a little like snow. This light allows several color changes through its free app that connects from your smart phone using blue tooth. Lighting effects of various patterns of flashing (for your color choice) can also be selected.Compared with other AppLights this spot does not have the same holiday themes. Also a universal theme cannot be selected at this point of time to apply to all the lights you want to control. The last minor negative is that the lights can only be changed while in blue tooth range; the system does not use an internet hub to allow control through the web.The light projects over a fairly sizable area but would require more than one if you wanted to project the entire front of a house. The light is also plenty bright.Overall it’s a great addition to wither a holiday display or to highlight everyday decor.

The light pattern is pretty but all the modes are pretty much the same. It’s difficult to connect to on the phone app unless I’m right next to it. There’s no way I can be up to 50 ft away. I ended up plugging it into a timer switch for turning on & off because the phone app is too aggravating trying to get it to connect. I only use the phone app for changing color patterns, but again, I have to be right next to it before it will connect.

This product is extremely easy to use. You plug the item into an outlet. Download the app applights on your phone or computer. Turn on the Bluetooth on your device. Then swipe left two times until you are at 49 applights. From this spot you will see the kaleidoscope at the top green which means it is activated and connected to your device. You can choose many different color configurations and styles. This is an extremely easy way to decorate your house for the holidays!

The lights were a great addition to the Christmas Decor this year. They relatively easy to install as the ways og christmas lights go, nothing fancy required to do while putting them up. They connected into the other light the same as the other strands. The real magic comes in once the lights are hooked up to the App. We were able to adjust the different color patterns and blinking styles from my cell phone without having to take all these difficult steps. The wave patterns that are preset allow for a great festive fun without having to play with a timer or different syncing. The other holiday color patterns make it easy to leave the lights up year round and change the lights to fit the next holiday, not that I would want to take the easy way out of decorating by leaving them up.

I have to put the light very close to the house in order for it to show up otherwise you can’t even see it. The light swivels and does not stay pointed in the right direction. It’s pretty, but I’d expect much more for the price I paid.I also couldn’t get the blue tooth to work with it.

Applights Projection Spotlight has many options to choose from for projecting on to a surface.. It gives a good amount of light on the surface when dark.. The further from the projection target the larger the display … It was somewhat difficult to get the App to control it .. At first the App wouldn’t come up on Google Play .. then when I contacted the 800 help number the app came up on my phone. The light wouldn’t be control on the app icon .. the Spot Light was stuck in the white color mode … Instructions didn’t state to plug and unplug 4 times to make it connect to my phone app … the tech support was really helpful … it now works for my Applight string lights and the Tech Tree also.

Love it!!The projection spot comes ready to install. You need only screw on the stake and place it. Once plugged in the unit will run off of the default program until you change it with the free App via Blue tooth. The App ran without a problem on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The Blue Tooth connection was easy with this fixture. I had difficulty with the triple spot light fixture set from the same manufacturer.You have a few less color options with this unit versus the three light spot but the kaleidoscopic effect is nice and covers a much larger area for a greater impact. I am thrilled with the fixture and the interface. For an even greater effect I am now lighting up a small fountain.The fixture is hard to conceal during the day because of the large bug eye lens but it is worth the investment.Great job AppLights!(Note – Video does not due the fixture justice. Much larger area is illuminated)

Not as bright as I would have liked. You can barely see the light show. If you have it too close (where you can see it better) then it’s only on a small portion of the house. I’d need like 6 of them for it to look right. And that’s just too much money to spend.

First what I don’t like about this product: the app. The app isn’t the best and isn’t the easiest to use. I’m pretty tech savvy so I was able to figure it out, but my dad couldn’t as easily. The app does have one nice feature which is that you can control all your AppLights lights if you have more than one.But the system itself is pretty cool and is a welcome addition to our home’s Christmas decorations. Extremely easy to set up and doesn’t require anyone climbing up on a latter. It also creates a nice light show on the house. I’d recommend it but only if you’re tech savvy.

I thought these would work like the hanging and spot lights, but they don’t. It’s a very difficult to see pattern if you are trying to cover a larger area or a portion of the front of your house. Disappointed in this offering.

The APPLIGHTS company has rapidly moved into my favorite company for Christmas type light sets. Never have I come across products that are so outstanding that you want to find more uses than just Christmas.First, tech is required in that you need a smart phone. So many of us have them now that there may be no need to mention it, but just to be sure, you do need one. After that, their application to run the lights loads seamlessly and flawlessly. In short, the app works PERFECTLY!I got this spotlight with intentions of using it for holidays to project lights on the house, and if that’s what you want and need, just go get one of these right now, because it will do that and so much more for you. Just go get one, you’ll love it!But, if you’re like me and you love it, you’ll want to find new uses for it than you expected! That’s how great a product it is! So, I took one look at how this LED Light show spotlight works, and realized I had a great party light and mood light for my den. You have so much control over how the light’s effects behave and project, that it just screams to be used for more things than just projecting lights on your house. If that’s what you truly want it for, it WILL do that terrifically, that and so much more.I set this up on our back porch at night, cool beverage in hand, feet propped up and watched the light show all across our porch ceiling and walls.I put it on in the pool room and we played ‘Light show pool’ with the spot light as our only lighting.It has so many options and works so well, that I suspect I will just keep this light handy and use it any time and anywhere I feel like it.And, to add some icing on the cake, it even comes with a great, highly adjustable attached stake for mounting it in the ground. Even if you only saw the adjustable stake, you would immediately know this is a high quality product.So if you need a house projection light, an indoor mood light, a party light, or even a special effects light when you’re relaxing out on the porch, this is your perfect light for you. It’s bright (said to project 40 feet), easy to control, and just a way cool product!
