   I’ve been looking at these projectors for Christmas decorations for some time. I look forward to using them for my Christmas decorations this year. I have tested them. The LED Projection-Whirl-a-Motion Stars RGBW Stake Light is very easy to set up. Having the projector plugged in helps determine how far away you want to set it up. The colors are vivid and the projection is visible from a good distance. Makes it easy to decorate the house with or without additional strings of lights.

   This LED projection light gives a variety of stars in red, green, blue and white. I like that it is powered by an LED bulb so it uses a lot less electricity. It goes together easily and will be used on a timer to add to Christmas decorations in my yard. Depending on the distance from the backdrop, the stars become smaller or larger, the colors are not changeable but in a multicolored display they look great. It seems to be well built self contained, and sealed so you can use it outside. I hope it lasts for many years.

   This product is ok but is doesn’t reach very far. If you move it to far away from the projection wall the images are to faint to see unless it is absolutely dark outside. If you move it in to where the images are sharp the field of coverage is small. I would consider this product adequate at best.

    Tech-mas! It diesn’t Snow on Guam and we don’t have the phenomenon of aurora borialis to colorize our skies, but the animated lights bring to us what we lack!

    I am not a big fan of these whirling light decorations, but since the kids have taken over the Department of Outdoor Christmas Decorations, I acquiesced. The arrival of this lighting instrument was overshadowed by the inflatable hugging Christmas teddy bear, so I did not get any strong feelings either way from the kids, but we did take it outside and set it up temporarily just to check it out. The front of our house is lit up pretty brightly by street lighting, but we were still able to see the whirling stars quite easily.Just be aware that light intensity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the light source. You have to keep this pretty close to the building or the stars fade out.My real plan is to set this up next spring near the entry point where some migratory bats have staked out a colony…I don’t mind the bats, but I don’t like the guano they leave in my attic. Hopefully the whirling lights will encourage them to abandon the attic and move into the bat houses I have built for them near by.

    This is a great Christmas decoration that will replace o number of light I put every year. It is bright and the whirl-a-motion works very well and is very visible from the street. It is an LED light and it is bright enough to see but not distracting in the house. I highly recommend this stake light and can’t wait until Christmas gets a lot closer so I can put it out front.

    Because we have a street light in front of our house the lights don’t show up as much as I would like, but if it was darker, it would be awesome!

    I can only recommend it if you have a smooth light colored surface to show it on. It is not bright enough to show up on darker colored or uneven surfaces. It is well made, and simple. It survived ice and rain well and worked fine except not as bright as I’d hoped.
