It does what it says it does. For the low discount price without any shipping charge, it is a bargain.

fun, fun, fun! used the stars to light up the corner where the Christmas tree was, and the granddaughters loved it.

I did try this projection whirl-a-motion decoration even though it is not Christmas yet. I wanted to see how it would look and if one would be enough. It is simple to hook up. Just run an extension cord to it and put it our in the yard facing your house or front door, etc.. It does put off great colors but will probably need two or three of them to get a full effect on the front of your house.

We used this projector to provide for colorful star movement in conjunction with another projector that provided a backdrop of moving muted color swatches. The two together combined for a very attractive light show display on our garage door, supplementing the other ground displays and mounted light strings on our house and around the yard. There is no variability in function available… so, no alternate choice in design or symbols, color combinations, direction or speed of motion, etc, However, the unit was priced right for what it is ==> a very simple, colorful, and attractive projection of moving stars… stake it, turn it on, and you’re good-to-go.

we love this one that projects stars…regretfully the one we bought that projects spots quit working a couple hours into the display…first the purple spots stopped showing then it dimmed and stopped working….very disappointed as we where enjoying our purchase.

Surprisingly bright and pleasing sharp focus, these revolving stars would be great outside decoration for a number of holidays (4th of July and Christmas jump to the top of the list, of course). Having tried them out and observed how they work, I can even see some INSIDE uses for this light (party light). It comes with an outside rig so you can stake it into the ground. They give you a long cord (about 15 feet) so if you happen to have some outside outlets, you might not even need any extension cords. That same rig allows the unit to swivel into a lot of angles so you can get the best effects. I like it. I like the way it sort of slowly spins around a center axis and fills an outside or inside wall (or ceiling) with a red, green, blue, and white ‘star’ light effect. If you’re looking for this sort of ‘whirl-a-motion’ lighting effect, I think you’ll like this too.One drawback… I’d like it a little better if it had an on/off switch on the unit. But simply unplugging it isn’t all that difficult.

Beautiful stars shinning and bright….looks really nice. Just got and tried it, can’t comment on durability. It has a great swivel for perfect placement. Feels and looks very solidly built. Cord is strong and obviously great for outdoor use, as it is super thick. Does fade out quick as you shine it toward further away objects. Looking very forward to using it this upcoming holiday season, and hope it will last for years.

I wanted the colors to be more vibrant. But it was a good price for what I am getting.

This LED “whirl-a-motion-stars” projector is pretty darned cool. It’s September, and it was not really appropriate for me to go set it up outside my house yet, so we lit it up in a darkened room and projected onto the far wall. Interesting star design in 4 colors, and it seems about the same brightness as other house projectors we have used. Now – the big question is, will it last? The rotating mechanicals give me slightly less confidence then fixed lights we have used in the past, but for a device that will get used nightly for maybe 6 weeks per year, it should do fine.

It does exactly what it says it will do. I was able to preview what I would see at the store and was happy with what I saw there and again at home.

The Projection-Whirl-a-Motion-Stars is a nice compact projector that has 4 spinning stars with different shapes. They rotate or move from side to side. It isn’t twirling. There is a mechanical motion maker and the in-ground stake can be hooked onto a pivoting stand and the light can be move on 3 axis’s. The lights are bright at 40 feet and are sharp and defined.
