I bought 5 of these, in different colors. They look great on my white house. I am using them currently for Halloween, and will continue to use them when Christmas come around. (I would have liked an orange one for halloween). I’ve returned 2 already because they didn’t work. One worked for a day, but then the light went out, and the kaliedoscope kept turning. Another one, the Light worked, but the kalidescope never turned. Even on another one, the kaliedescope didnt turn, until i smacked in a couple of times, then it worked, and has been working for a few days now. (i’m keeping all the boxes, as I’m worried I’ll be exchanging these quite often). I would reccomend opening them, and finding an outlet at Home Depot to test them before purchasing.So i would reccomend them when they work, but warn you to be aware of faulty units. BTW, build quality feels good, even though, it’s kind of a crapshoot if you get a working one.

As an avid (novice) Christmas light enthusiast, this new product caught my eye when it hit the shelf, at my local Home Depot, in early November. I purchased two at that time. I tried them out that night, and was so impressed, that I returned to the store the next day to purchase 2 or 3 more. I know the shelf had about 6 or 8 more, but, they were gone that next day. I searched Home Depot stores near me, online, and found a store 6 mi. away, that had them in stock. I ordered 3 of them online for pick-up at that store, to be sure they would still be there the next day. The lights were at the service desk when I went to the store that day. I was curious and checked that store’s shelves for stock and, there was 1 left. Obviously, this being a new product, Home Depot buyers couldn’t know in advance how popular it would be, since most stores were out of stock weeks before Thanksgiving, let alone the Christmas Holidays. By the way…these LEDs are bright and can replace string lights for an outdoor lighting effect.

We like it. Beautiful display of variety colors on the house. Easy to install. Nice change from the usual decorations. Originally I was concerned if we would see the lights as we have a streetlight in front of our house, but it was still bright and colourful. Price was reasonable as well. Happy customer!

At first I was reluctant to purchase based on the reviews about the product stopped working/spinning.I’m so Happy I didn’t get discouraged. These are the best lights used for Christmas exterior decorating.My home looks so beautiful and different.I highly recommend this product.I have a timer set up to come on for about 8 hrs and off the remaining hours. I did notice when its time to come on the spinning on all the units I purchased does not spin for about 10 mins. I think it just needs to warm up since its been off in the cold weather. After the 10 mins its spinning and running perfectly.

Bought these at my Home Depot in College Station TX. Love them. My neighbors all want them, but they have been sold out for awhile. So glad I bought them early. Just read all the negative reviews but I am very happy. They have been working for about 2 weeks with no problems. I wish I had gotten more. But will be looking for them next year.

Bought 3 units. No DOA’s. Pattern is pretty sharp and is visible from street. Have used indoors also, much brighter and fills room with color. 1 of the 3 lights is the Stars Wars projector. This one is a hit with our grandson!

I set this lightshow up in early November and found that although the light came on right away, it took about 5 minutes for it to start revolving. It was -27c here yesterday, and it took about 15 minutes for it to start turning, It worked perfectly until I shut it off 6 hours later.Perhaps the poor reviews the product has had were because the customers did not wait long enough for the light to warm up.

This “disco” type light is a great idea, but it falls short in performance. It’s just not very bright. I do like the colors that spray out on the wall but they are quite faint. If you’re ok with soft colors, then this will work for you.

I did try using this projection kaleidoscope out front of my house even though it is not Christmas yet. I wanted to see how bright it was and how much of the front of the house it covers. The lights on it are very good and colorful, but most would probably want two or three of these to set off the entire front of the house. The hook up is easy with one or two extension cords

Easy to use. I have had them up for 4 weeks and have not had a problem with the lights or the motion. The closer to the house the brighter the light. I used 2 for a mid sized house. Keep in mind the colors are muted, they are not a bright Christmas red etc…they are soft colors. Haven’t seen another house with them.

Love it, but you have to have complete darkness. No street lights, house lights on or any other Christmas lights outside on.Coverage is average.The front of our house is about 50′ and if I put it far away from the house it covers almost the entire front, but the projection of the lights fade away.Close up is fine, but then you only cover a small portion of the house.

I saw them on display at my local store and knew I wanted them right away. Of course they were out of stock in store, so I ordered them online and a few other xmas related items. I bought 4 of these in advance, did not want to run the risk of the stores running out again or it being on back order closer to xmas (purchased in early October 2014).I played around and tested the lights at home for a few hours and loved them before putting them away ( it is not even Halloween yet). I will increase the rating once I finally set them up after Thanksgiving. For now it is 4 stars.
