Bought this product and placed it outside. First 30 minutes it was working as designed. After 30 minutes it stopped turning. We unplugged and tried again the next night. Same issue after 30 minutes it stopped working. Had to order replacement on-line they are all out in the stores nearby. Will be hard to find closer to Christmas.

10 in. Red Green Blue Projection Kaleidoscope Spotlight Stake – many of the customer reviews didn’t leave me with much confidence in this product. When the spotlight arrived, I opened the box and plugged it in. The light was brighter than I expected and the kaleidoscope effect is great. I set it up outside that night and found that for the best effect, the spotlight should be within 20 feet of whatever you are shining it on. Also, the kaleidoscope effect is better when the area is really dark; a lot of house lights or street lights wash out the colors. Setup is simple, plug it in and point it where you want it.

We bought this projection spotlight because we saw it operating in a display in the Tracy, CA store. Once back home and in the dark, I plugged it in and it nearly blinded me (over-emphasizing) – it was very bright! I am impressed at the colors and the way it shimmers. We’re going to buy all of the remaining colors for Christmas (blue, red, green & white).

I got a 2 pack during a daily deal for $20 and I wish I bought more! They are really bright and cover a LOT of area. One light alone covers most of the front of my ranch style house, and the color quality is not compromised. My intended use is in the backyard; the colors don’t translate into the tallest trees, but still give a kaleidoscope light effect. Overall, very very cool!

I’ve always been interested in these lights and am happy to try this one out. I will say that it seems so much easier than lugging the ladder out and stringing up all sorts of holiday lights . All you do it point it at your house and you have an interesting light display to give your property some holiday cheer. Now, my wife will still want me to take the ladder out and put up all those lights, but am really excited to add another dimension to the decor for minimal effort. Seems sturdy and well built – Nice and bright and think it will last a good couple of years.

I was so excited when I ordered this projector light–and now I am more excited because now that I have it and plugged in my house (just to try, this is going out to light up my home for the Christmas Holiday) it is so awesome–it throws lots of dancing swirling lights with red, blue, green so amazing.The price for such a nice projection light is wonderful–and pick up at store (save on S/H) was the icing on the cake. Thanks a lot Home Depot for that saving.It projects about 23ft X 23ft–this is perfect for smaller area and only one is needed.I will be ordering a second one for back of home.I am sure that I am not the only female that has a husband that hates hanging lights–LOL–WELL–not this year he will be happy with this and inflatables, etc. to put out–simple easy–and we will both be happy:)It comes with extra batteries for the plug–only con I have is there is no on/off switch–have to plug and un-plug–my husband is a retired electrician and says will be fine plugging into a timer–another easy set up LOL–It looks just as photo shown and does come with a yard stake which is what I intend–but says can be wall mounted.Thanks again Home Deport for bringing to we consumers a fantastic product at such a fantastic price–can hardly wait to decorate as I know my neighbors will just LOVE as we do.
