The AE6000 Wireless-AC Dual-Band USB Adapter from Linksys features dual-band functionality allowing you to connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz network frequencies. By connecting to the 5GHz frequency you benefit from data speeds up to 430Mbps while the more common 2.4GHz frequency provides data speeds up to 150Mbps. Combine the dual band functionality with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards and you can connect to just about any available Wi-Fi network. Once connected you benefit from enhanced Wi-Fi security with WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryption standards.

I was astonished by how easy this unit was to set up. I have it linked to an older model computer that I had set up in a spare bedroom. In the past I had to move the computer to the room which had my Internet connection; because it didn’t have Wi-Fi. Now it does and it works great! I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

First problem showed up when loading the driver. Win10 kept making me reinstall several times. when the driver loaded the connection would not hold. I re-seated the dongle hoping for a solid connection and never got one.
