The EA6350 AC1200+ Dual Band Smart Wi-Fi Gigabit Router from Linksys features dual band functionality allowing compatible devices to connect to either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequencies. By connecting to the less congested 5 GHz frequency you benefit from enhanced data transfer rates perfect for transferring large files, streaming HD content, online gaming, and more.
Along with enhanced wireless data transfer speeds, you can also take advantage of four Gigabit Ethernet ports located on the back of the router. These four Ethernet ports allow for a fast, stable, reliable wired data connection. Additionally, you can plug in a variety of USB compatible peripheral devices such as external hard drives and printers to the USB 3.0 port. Once connected those devices become accessible by users throughout the network.
The EA6350 also features Linksys Smart Wi-Fi. This included software application allows you to control your entire network from nearly anywhere. In addition to enhanced network control via the Smart Wi-Fi feature, you can secure your network using WEP, WPA/WPA2-Mixed, WPA2-Personal, and WPA2- Enterprise encryption standards.

I live in about a 900 sqft appartment and this router reaches every corner. With my previous routers that I’ve rented from the cable company, I’ve had to use a Wi-Fi extension device, but not with this router. I haven’t had time to explore most of the features, but I can say it really blasts the Wi-Fi throughout the place

We have 2 laptops, 2 tablets and a desktop which may be connecting through this router at any one time. So far, the router has not bogged down with all of these devices connected at once! If it is slower, we haven’t detected it. All-in-all we are VERY happy with the price, the fast delivery from B&H, the east set-up and the great service this router is performing. I would highly recommend this router!

Got this today and am now 2 hours into researching manual set up for this router. As far as I can see you must use their “Wizard” which means setting up an account, giving out your email, etc. So after an hour and a half I gave up and tried to set up a “Smart Wifi” account. Filled out their forms but couldn’t get it to submit!!! Good thing I’m 3 hours away or this would be going back tomorrow. If you know anything about networks / routers you don’t want this thing.

Although it’s not quite as simple as the plug-it-in-and-go hype that comes in the package, once you change all the requisite passwords and link it to your peripherals (such as a network printer and your backup drive), it’s a vast improvement over the Netgear Wifi I replaced.

This is a very cost effective router and works flawlessly so far. The setup was quite easy compared to my two previous units. The only thing to note is that the setup instructions do not follow what is actually required. This router seems to go ahead and begin the setup process prior to your inputting any data. This caused me some initial confusion. Otherwise everything is great.
