The lid on the Dutch oven had four (4) indentations and when I called I was told they could not replace the lid because they were out of stock. I feel you should replace lid or make a adjustment on the payment. Otherwise, I love the Dutch oven.

My daughter is my caregiver now and has been wanting more cast iron cookware. It seems food cooked in cast iron is better flavored. When I saw this I pounced on it. Just the right size. Comes pre-seasoned. It is a nice quality cast iron. Not as rough as some other brands we considered. Can be used on the stove, in the oven, on the grill or camp fire. Overall a very nice Dutch oven! Highly recommend.

This is one of my new favorite cooking supplies. I love cooking on cast iron. This is a very solid & great size dutch oven. I have used the cast iron dutch oven for all kinds of cooking including: frying, slow cooking, pan sauteing, and baking. The high sides make it a great pan for frying without worrying about oil splattering. The nice think about cast iron is that it can be used on the grill. I love putting the pan on my grill grates and using it outdoors. The cast iron retains the heat better than any other material. The high sides help provide continual and even heating for whatever is being cooked. Just a great pan!!! I would strongly recommend!!

I am famous among people who have tasted my bean soup and known as the King of beans. I made some of my beans soup a couple days after the dutch Oven arrived and of course it was delicious . My wife makes an equally delicious ,famous potato soup and as soon as my beans were gone she whipped up a great soup, I love it . It will be an heirloom for the kids someday.LOL

I purchased this cast iron dutch oven to cook turkey breast in. I didn’t want to use my large roasting pan for something a third the size of a whole turkey. I can also use it for roast beef. only drawback is it is heavy empty. once I put the turkey or beef in it i’ll have to be extra careful lifting it out of the oven. now i’m just waiting for a turkey breast sale to try it out.

Good quality cast iron pot. After washing, I did a quick seasoning in the oven before using just to be on the safe side. I have already used it once to smoke ribs on the stove top. It worked great, The lid is tight fitting. Very happy with purchase.

I highly recommend this Lodge cast iron 7-quart it was well packed delivered promptly had no issues whatsoever washed it out with water and Camp Chef cast iron cleaner dried it out baked it in the oven for about 400 for an hour when it came out I put the Camp Chef cast iron conditioner on it that it cool down wipe the excess out and first dish I made was chili no issues whatsoever highly recommended five-star all the way
