This is a nice heavy pan. It is made well. I like companies that care about the product and do a nice job making their product. It is made in the US. I don’t like going out to get a pizza. I also like cooking for myself. When I have company then it makes the get together even better when I am making the home pizza. It makes a memory to keep. When by myself I don’t have to share a good pizza.

First, I love Lodge products. This pizza pan is something I’ve had on my wish list for sometime. It comes pre-seasoned, a plus. But after washing before using, I lightly oiled the cooking surface, placed a frozen pizza on it, baked and 18 minutes later we had a restaurant style pizza coming out of our own oven. The bottom crust was nice and crisp, something my Husband insists on, and what cheese spilled onto the pan, came up with ZERO effort.It’s big enough to support a full size pizza and will not fit into a toaster oven!Follow the care instructions carefully for a lifetime of enjoyment. Wash in hot soapy water, rinse thoroughly and apply a light coat of veggie oil before storing.For those of us going back to the “old ways” this is a real home run!

This pan lives up to my high expectations. While this particular product / brand is a little more costly than other options out there, I wanted a high quality Pan that would last a long time. Very solid but no unwieldly as the handles are helpful and properly sized. This pan comes pre-seasoned.

Purchased this item to use under large steel pot to prevent burning from concentrated gas flame. Worked like a charm; no more scraping the bottom of large pots to remove burnt on food. Also use the cast iron pan for making pancakes, eggs, and a host of other things. Very durable, easy to clean.

We have experimented with pizza stones, expensive pizza pans, etc. in search of a way to produce excellent pizza in a conventional oven. This cast iron pizza pan is a game changer. Preheat the pan in the oven, pre-cook the dough on the now pre-heated pan for 3 minutes, add toppings and ingredients, cook for 10 more and you have arrived at great pizza! Pizza doesn’t stick to pan, pizza is cooked all the way through, crust is browned and crispy. We have not yet cooked on the gas grill with this (waiting for summer) but have read it works well for pizza on the grill.
