Better than a pizza stone.Pros: transfers heat well, perfect size, handles, good price.Cons: heavy?Worth the money. A pizza stone will probably break over time, but not this thing!

This is my second one, I have a 36 in. Commercial gas stove, love love to sear the veggies asparagus, onions, tomatoes …on one and cook the steaks on the other, to perfection!Storage when not in use is my only issue as these are large!!!5 stars!!!!

This pan is excellent for making pizza! I use olive oil after and before each use – this keeps the dough from sticking to the pan and afterwards to keep it seasoned. I highly recommend it – the handles make it easy to remove from a hot oven.

This is probably the best pizza pan on the market today. It is extremely well made, heavy, and made right here in the USA ! I have several cast iron pans made by this company and have always been impressed with their quality. This pan is perfect for baking pizza both indoors and out. It cooks perfectly on the grill or in the oven. Either way, the cast iron cooks evenly and delivers a perfect pizza each and every time. If you’ve never owned cast iron cookware, this is a great starter piece. Complete use and care instructions are included. Taken care of properly, this pan will last a lifetime !

The first thing I used it for was baking cookies. I didn’t think my husband’s peanut butter cookies could get any better, but this cast iron pan did it!I’m really looking forward to trying it on our grill this summer…hmmm, maybe Lodge pizza this weekend!

Lodge Cast Iron Pizza PanLet me start this by saying my wife loves this cast iron pizza pan. We got this to try cooking pizzas on our gas grill and we couldn’t be happier. The pizzas come off the grill with a perfectly even crust and a wonderful flavor. This pan is very heavy, about 9.5lbs, it comes with nice built in handles to help you lift it. Due to its weight we actually leave it on the grill and slide the pizza off onto a cutting board and then when the pan has cooled we remove it for cleaning. Cleaning is simple, wait for it to cool and brush/scrape it clean. For those that want to wash the pan instructions are included along with directions for seasoning.We have also discovered just how versatile this pan is. We use it in our regular oven for baking biscuits and cookies. Once again it works great, the biscuits come out consistently baked with perfect crusts and the cookies also baked very consistently.
