   … I have been using the LogicSkin apple final cut pro keyboard cover for almost a month now, and I must say it’s amazing. How much faster I work through the short cut keys now. LogicSkin cut editing time by almost half the time. For me remembering all the short cuts wasn’t easy as soon as i threw this cover over my MacBook pro that was it. It took about an hour of playing with it and from there every thing was easy. With all the short cut keys being organized and colored coded it was simple to remember. And production time was wayyyyyy faster. And for me time is money I run a post production company for local and International media. As to the durability its rubbery feel makes it easier to type and very sturdy material. I was skeptical at first because I read lots of negative reviews online over things like not durable some people state that you couldn’t close the laptop that the LogicSkin had to be removed before closing most defiantly not true. My MacBook uni body 2011 closes perfectly with it on. I would defiantly recommend this to anybody that wants to work faster in final cut. Overall very happy and pleased.

   This is a great help at learning the keyboard shortcuts. I had hoped it would include some of the more esoteric ones, but the basics are there so I guess that’s good enough. It’s easy to type on and doesn’t move around at all. I’ll probably buy more of these for the editing workstations I use occasionally. I also like the pink keys for the number row better than the black keys on other products like this. I just find the coloring easier to read. The only thing I found lacking was that the description here says it fits the MacBook Air, but it really only fits the MacBook Air 13. When I put it on my MacBook Air 11, the top row of keys is too big, so the cover doesn’t fit perfectly. B&H may want to update the description to indicate that. (What fool is editing in FCPX on a MacBook Air 11? I get that a lot, but it meets my portability needs.)

   Even if your not an FCP editor, using one of these keyboard skins can seriously save your mac (when the kids spill a bottle of water over the open laptop!)

   I always use these keyboard covers. LogicKeyboard covers have a great fit and don’t interfere with the operation of the keys. They protect from spills and dirt under the keys. Cheap insurance. Plus, the Final Cut shortcuts are a big help for those of use who are not power users

   This simple keyboard cover works well. Haven’t had any problems with it slipping or coming off. It works as expected and is very helpful for knowing keyboard shortcuts while editing. Happy I got it. I would recommend.

   I keep it on my mac book all the time so it works as a protective cover for my keys too. It really does come in handy for editing. I’m still trying out the shortcuts and its helping me learn more about final cut along the way. It was awesome I could find this for Final Cut 7 on this site. They didn’t have any on @. Just make sure you clean it before you put it on your mac. Mine was kind of dusty.
