The Logic Pro X ASTRA Mac Backlit Keyboard from LogicKeyboard allows you to use your keyboard with ease in a dark room. With five selectable light levels, this keyboard can be used in any lighting environment. The X Astra sports a 5.9′ USB cable terminating in discrete USB Type-A connections for the keyboard and USB hub. This design feature allows for easy integration with editing systems that use USB KVM extenders and installations that require data security.
The dedicated LogicKeyboard makes controlling Logic Pro X simple and fast. It can be used by post-production facilities, professional video editing houses, and anyone else who requires all the custom key commands to be readily accessible from a dedicated, clearly labeled, color-coded keyboard.
Using this keyboard is a great way to learn the Logic Pro X key commands. Since the Logic Pro X dedicated keyboard features all the regular letter, number, and symbol labeling that you will find on a conventional keyboard, it can simply be used as a substitute for a regular keyboard.

Works perfectly, I use two DAWs for two different task. I use Ableton for tracking for church and other related stuff. I have committed to learning Logic for writing and scoring. This keyboard is helping me to do that. Short cuts are key to an efficient work flow. This keyboard pushes me to look for short cuts where I would normally fiddle around in drop downs. I will put it this way, if I was using Ableton on a separate work station, I would absolutely have the Ableton keyboard for it.

I’m a longtime Logic user, and the key combo switches from version 9 to X really altered my workflow. With this keyboard, I don’t have to remember version X key changes, they’re all right there in front of me. The backlighting is great for more vibey sessions, and the company was great about quickly replacing a couple key caps I messed up out of the box. This keyboard has been great for streamlining my workflow and is a good heavy-duty replacement with a satisfying key swing/depth over Apple’s flimsy aluminum consumer keypad.

I bought it for my short cut and extra usb ports. It works great and my MBP 2015 only allow 2 usb so it was kind of short for extra usb like iLok, midi keyboard and usb memory. Now kind of feel fine with extra usb. Sad that end of prodcution but B&H got it for me at last. Thank you!!
