I have only had this keyboard for a couple of weeks so I cannot comment on its long term durability. It is a very well made keyboard with great functionality for the Avid Media Composer system. It is expensive, but well worth the investment as it appears to be sturdy with precise action on the keys. It feels heavier than most keyboards and will probably be able to stand to many years of use. I have also used the silver version of this keyboard and, to me at least, this seems to be more robust. Perhaps I’m wrong on that as I don’t have both side by side. It also comes with the handy LED lamp, which is an added bonus, and it has two USB ports on the sides. This keyboard completes my system very nicely.
