It is ideal for post-production facilities, professional video editing houses, and anyone else who requires all the custom key commands at their fingertips. The keyboard also makes it easy to learn the Adobe Premiere Pro CC key commands. The keyboard features all the regular letter, number, and symbol labels of a conventional keyboard for everyday use as well. This keyboard is wired and includes a USB keyboard lamp to help you use your setup in dimly lit environments. The lamp plugs into one of the keyboard’s two USB Type-A ports for added flexibility. This keyboard is compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10.

I’ve found the keyboard excellent in quality and feel. It came with a nice USB light that can plug in on either side of keyboard. The only issue I’ve got is that it actually doesn’t have all the short cuts on the keys (EG, ctrl-M to send to media encoder). But, there were ones that I didn’t use and now do as they’re easy to launch now (ripple delete on a key rather than right mouse click menu).

I am being asked to write a review before I have used this project extensively. I am currently transitioning to premiere pro shortcuts after using custom shortcuts for the last ten years. This keyboard is generally useful to me during this time. The price is a little high, but I am getting value from it. I predominately use a mac and this keyboard is formatted for PCs, so I hit the wrong keys when doing apple commands a lot. That slows me down, but since I am retraining my muscle memory, I am working slower anyways. Bottom line, working slower means more time spent editing, which generally means I am losing money or profitability. Or if I am hourly, I am less productive. Packaging – Product came in a giant awkward box, the actual product box was pretty beat up, but the product inside was in perfect shape.

My change to this keyboard was from Mac keyboard (I use PC but like mac keyboard a lot)- and it’s also very nice in touch, solid heavy build and first of all – very usefull in Premiere CC, I found some new shortcuts 😉 Attatched led lamp also practical on my desk especially in low light room I work in.

Excellent ! It is very convenient to edit video for Premiere Pro CC by this keyboard support. It works great as well as a LED light with 2-level dimmer for lighting when the studio environment is dark or not enough lighting. Thank You !
