The black M510 Wireless Mouse from Logitech is a full-size wireless laser-grade mouse that features a scroll wheel, with left/right scrolling, as well as forward and back buttons. Laser tracking allows for multi-surface precision tracking, and a leave-in USB receiver lets you enjoy wireless freedom. The USB receiver supports Unifying technology allowing you to connect other compatible devices (available separately) to it, eliminating the need for additional USB receivers. This mouse offers programmable controls to customize button functions. Soft side grips and a contoured shape allow for comfortable use. This mouse is powered by two preinstalled AA batteries that last for up to two years depending on use. The mouse also has an On/Off switch to conserve battery life when not in use.

I have not had a single problem with the mouse and six months later I have yet to recharge it, turning it off each night by the switch on the bottom. If you need to replace a mouse, I highly recommend this one.

Its great. The only con I can think of is user forgetfulness: forgetting to turn off the power after use. The mouse is responsive, accurate, ergonomic, and nice. Its a good deal.

I use this mouse with our desk top and its much better than are old one. I like the on/off switch to save batteries, that was a problem with our old one. It glides easier and the shape of the mouse fits the hand better.

It works (sort of) with my late-2013 MacBook Pro Retina, but it is fussy about the surface it’s on. Doesn’t work on a black mousepad, for instance, but usually does OK on my T-shirt (I write in bed in the mornings). My last Logitech wireless mouse worked flawlessly on any surface until it eventually died. Go figure. I’ll eventually buy (and recommend) one of their better models instead. For now I’m getting by with this. Spend more, get better!

I bought this mouse to use when I do work in Photoshop, because the trackpad I was using made it extremely difficult. It does exactly what I bought it for: makes it easy to control what your doing. I would definitely recommend it for anyone that uses Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc.

Sometimes it works fine and about 1/3 of the time it skips or gets stuck so I cannot control it. Major frustrating. At first I thought I needed a new mousepad. So I bought that but that is not the problem. This mouse sucks.
