The Wireless Mouse M325 in red from Logitech is a great accessory for a laptop or netbook. The mouse employs a 2.4 GHz wireless connection, and comes with a tiny receiver that plugs into the USB port on your computer. Advanced optical tracking makes navigation easy, and you won’t need a mouse pad.
The mouse features micro-precise scrolling so you can navigate the web and scroll through documents with ease. By tilting the wheel, you can go forward/back on the web. The contoured shape and textured rubber grip keeps your hand comfortable even during extended sessions.
Since the included AA battery lasts for up to 18-months, you won’t need to worry about replacing it for quite awhile — and you can put it into sleep mode to conserve power and use the indicator light to know when the battery is running low. The M325 is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux for cross-platform compatibility.

I like to keep a few of these as spares for whatever occasional mouse disaster crops up. This is a simple, reliable, general use computer mouse that will work for a decade or so, despite being dropped on the floor and such. I haven’t tried stepping on one. The small size is particularly good for users with small hands.
