The Logitech Bluetooth Mouse M557 is a Bluetooth wireless mouse with a 1000 dpi optical sensor. It’s well-suited for use with a variety of Bluetooth-enabled devices. It has an ambidextrous design, making it comfortable to use in either hand. It also features a generous battery life with several handy battery management features. A button behind the scroll wheel makes it easy to switch between the traditional Windows desktop and apps and the new, full-screen Windows 8 interface. The scroll wheel lets you scroll up and down through documents. Tilt the wheel left and right to move back and forth between web pages, open windows, and apps. Additionally, you can change the way each button works through downloadable software.

I bought this mouse to replace my aging Logitech Anywhere mouse that wasn’t keeping a charge for long. I mouse itself is vert nicely made and has a nice heft to it. My only complaint is that when I use it on my easy chair side arms it doesn’t work too well because the arms are not flat they are curved. It works on any other flat surface that I tried so far like in my bed or my couch as long if the surface is flat. I may just exchange this one and get a new Anywhere mouse.

Incredibly fast response – have an older blue tooth and this one is much better. Occasionally loses connectivity on start up, but I keep the bluetooth icon on my desktop and just click on it to bring it back to connectivity. Am replacing other mice on two other computers.
