Play your favorite PC games wirelessly with the black Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Mouse, thanks to its LIGHTSPEED wireless technology and USB nano receiver. The G305 can last up to 9 months on a single AA battery. It also has a lightweight design with a built-in storage for the USB nano receiver for easy transportation.
With the Hero optical sensor that has a 200 to 12,000 dpi range, the G305 provides precise accuracy, thanks zero smoothing, filtering, or acceleration. The six programmable buttons can be customized with the Logitech Gaming software. You can also save up to five profiles directly to the mouse, thanks to its onboard memory.

I’m not a gamer, but this is a great mouse. Lightweight, self-contained, and feels nice. Customizable, including precision and all buttons. It would be cool to have a little programmable lighting, but the power requirements would probably be too high. My son (who does a lot of mousing) grabbed it for something and said, Hey, that’s a nice mouse. ‘Nuff said.

TL;DR Need one setup for work and play? This is your best choice – right now. Probably the best mouse I’ve ever used. And I’ve used a lot of mice for both media production and gaming. Pros: – Works immediately – Sensor is in the middle/true center – Accepts rechargeable AA batteries (no land-fill) – Ergonomic oval shape! Don’t buy mice with indented sides. – Solid feel and balance – Super smooth glide – Looks professional, not a cartoon-carbon-fiber-clown-show. – Software adds full customizations for both work and games – There’s a little compartment slot next to the battery that can hold the USB receiver if you need to throw it in a bag to go. Very clever! CONS… *If I MUST pick any areas for improvement* – Side buttons click action feels slightly mushy, but has adequate click feedback. Could be better but it’s almost there. I love the current shape and finish. – Scroll wheel does not have a clutch to disable the tactile-clicky scrolling. In longer documents and websites, clicky wheels are way too slow. However, I understand that clicky wheels are superior for gaming. There are ways to customize your scrolling in the software, but it’s not as intuitive and doesn’t feel anywhere close to the super spinny scroll wheels on other Logitech options, like the MX Master and MX Anywhere series. – The G logo is visually brash. I wish it was gone. If this mouse were stealth, it would be probably be the best candidate for most people in most settings. This is nitpicking, and should not discourage buyers. I’m sure the logo will wear off after several years of use, but as it partially wears away, it’ll look pretty gross. It would have been better as an etched area or slightly smoother texture than the rest of the mouse, with the same body color.

The product arrived quickly and safely. It’s exactly what I wanted, a decent wireless mouse, at a very good price. I am using it for my M1 MBA; it works perfectly. Thank you, B&H.

I needed a mouse to use when gaming in a hotel and this meets my needs. The mouse seems durable and is quite lightweight. It is also inexpensive enough that I won’t be very upset if it gets damaged during travel.

I use my mouse for regular computer use and CAD drawing. So far have had no issues. I really like the light click, you just have to put a little pressure on the button instead of having to push like you want to break it. I also really like and use the programmable buttons. When you use it on a extended desktop with a PC it moves smoothly and evenly unlike some other mice.

I picked this mouse up for $29.99, and at that price it is really hard to complain too much. It feels like a cheap mouse being extremely light and all plastic. The buttons are VERY loud. This isn’t a problem for me, but if you are looking for something quiet, this isn’t for you. The tracking is very good and the tracking speed can be adjusted on the fly with the click of a button. The mouse works just fine for gaming and non-gaming uses alike. I wish it had a free scrolling mouse wheel, but I wasn’t assuming this would come with one anyhow. For the full price of $50 I might suggest bumping up to something else, but at a decent sale price you are getting a good deal.
