My review has nothing to do with the quality of BHP’s service or the quality of the keyboard… I’m disatisfied in my own decision to buy G413, it’s too big and too wide, I should’ve went for something else!

This keyboard is used for average office work. Keyboard is slightly heavier than the average keyboard. Feels good in hands. Build quality is excellent. I have another mechanical keyboard with MX Cherry Blue keys. The feedback is less tactile but also quieter. I think its a good balance of feedback and noise. The keys has a matte finish and not as slick as typical smooth plastic surface. I like the brush metallic face plate and minimalistic design. I can’t comment on durability. Hopefully the key markings will stay on after years of heavy usage. Highly recommended.

Overall, this keyboard is pretty nice to type on. I’ve had this keyboard for just under two years and I have some reasonable complaints. 1) The buttons are so sensitive that my regular-sized, not ridiculously heavy hands can trigger keystrokes w/ just my hand resting on the keys. That’s really annoying when hotkeys are a huge part of your workflow. This is likely attributed to the light touch of these particular mechanical switches (Logitech Romer-G switches have an actuation force of 45 g, an actuation distance of 0.06). So shame on me for not knowing the downward gravitational force of my fingers before I bought one of these. 2) BOTH CTRLS, WIN KEY, TILDE KEY, TAB, have actually snapped off under general use, (this thing has been stationary since the time I bought it). The keys have not popped out, and OOPS I’m just too dumb to put the thing back on, but the inserts on the actual keys have broken off inside of their housing bracket, making it impossible to fix, short of super gluing them back on crooked, or replacing the switch. Otherwise, the way the keyboard lights up is very pretty, and the aluminum design is really nice. So, yeah. Anyway. It’s decent. But also, kinda not.

I am not a gamer. I just love the way gaming keyboard types. This keyboard feels amazingly sturdy, heavy, and solid. I love the carbon color finish but I think I’d prefer better with white light instead of red like the silver version. It’s not annoyingly loud so I am able to use it at work without driving my coworkers crazy. I’m thinking about buying another one for my home desktop.

I like this keyboard a lots. It is very responsive and has a nice “feel”. I don’t like that it takes up two USB ports but that’s the only draw back I’ve found.

I had been wishing for a mechanical keyboard for a while now. I am no pro gamer or a pro typer, but I do type a lot of scientific papers for research so typing is something important to me. Although I wish I would have tried the clicky type keys that everyone says are perfect for typing, I do really like these keys and thoroughly enjoy typing on them. They aren’t as loud as the clicky MX blue/style keys but still are better than the typical membrane keys. The red backlight is very clean and classy, and I love having the number pad as I utilize excel quite a bit. overall great keyboard.

I have wanted a backlit keyboard for a while now. Rather than a cheap backlit I got this entry level gaming board. No silly rainbows that blink and wave, red only dimmable in five increments. It does have two varying light level effects. Meh. The board has a solid feel with excellent action on the keys. Far better than the typical OEM board. The completely flat surface under the keys should making keeping this board clean a breeze. There are custom settings for many games I’ll likely never use. One very useful feature is I was able to use is manually disabling the CAPS lock key. You are able disable any key based on your gaming needs.

Build quality is as good as always with Logitech. I didn’t realize that it only had one backlight color when I ordered it, but that’s my fault. I wanted the one with RGB colors. Overall the keyboard has the mechanical feel without the loud clicky sounds. I want my gaming setup to be minimal sound so this is perfect for that.
