Its nice and heavy and the keys are responsive. However, at the moment the Flow feature is not working for this nor the mx3 mouse so I manually have to change between my M1 Mac Mini and my windows laptop. Not huge but the feature is not working and its one reason I bought it for. I expect it will get corrected as its only been a month since Big Sur was released.

Not clear how to connect it via Bluetooth, it doesn’t just pop up on Mac OS. Once I finally figured how to get it to show up on my machine, it said connected but I never could type anything. It comes with a USB dongle but I don’t have a USB port anymore thanks to Apple. I used the dongle to connect it to an old computer just to make sure it wasn’t broken. It connected easily that way, but the Command and Option keys are reversed on it, even though it has Mac OS content all over its website. So I had to use the OS to remap the keys. I couldn’t figure out how to permanently enable the function keys, I had to keep holding down the FN key to use them. I guess Logitech thought I would want to change the brightness of my screen more often than I would need a function key. Not the case. Just too many issues, I had to return it. Some of this may be Catalina-related, I don’t know. I did like the lit keys, I liked how it typed, it felt like a good balance of durability and lightweight. Would’ve used it but at this point I shouldn’t have to spend hours setting up a keyboard.

I am working on both a MacStudio Ultra and an older laptop simultaneously. My main concern was that switching would have a workflow disrupting delay but it is basically instantaneous. Bluetooth is solid. I depend on function keys and have to switch out of FN key Mode to Media Key mode to switch computers which is 1 more step than I’d like but it’s still pretty efficient all in all. FN Key is not in the same place as a MacBook keyboard (Here it is to right of Delete) so that was confusing but once you get used to the few differences, it is all straight forward. Backlight is nice but I wish I could make it stay on permanently. Typing is very smooth and not too loud. Well-constructed. Highly satisfied.

I do not type well and a good keyboard may be more important for me than others. This does not disappoint. Great action and feel.

Out of the box, I was severely disappointed with Apple’s wireless keyboard. It was too flat, moved too easily on the desk, and despite its size was a bit too small for touch typists. I have superb experience with Logitech’s products and when the Apple keyboard exhibited signs of failing found the reviewed keyboard. The Logitech keyboard is most excellent for a touch typist, stays put on the desk with ‘sticky’ feet. The typing experience is wonderful with just the right amount of ‘feel’ to the keys and a slight indent to the keys to locate your fingers. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and B&H Photo’s shipping performance that got the item to me quickly.

Wow! Is all I can say. Coming from a gaming keyboard most of my life, this is truly a wonderful change. No wires! Yes! Beautiful sleek design. I’m using this keyboard and the matching MX3 mouse on my PC. My Benq monitors have build in USB C and I have the cable hidden behind the monitor until I need to charge the mouse or keyboard. My only complaint is not knowing exactly the battery levels. Besides that, the near field backlighting is perfect. I use bluetooth to connect both devices and very rarely experience any delay. The fact that they are in power save mode seems to easily compensate for the occasional initial key delay.

Smooth keystrokes and love the backlit keys! Connected easily to my Mac. Works so good. I love it!

This baby is solid, and laid out just like the aluminum Apple keyboard I am familiar with. I can pick on certain details – I wish it was wired so I didn’t have to mind the battery, eventually – but if it keeps on working as is I will be happy. The illumination turns off if it is not touched, to save energy, but quickly goes on when your fingers just approach the keys. The illuminated keyboards I have seen before were clunky and crude, often gaudy, but this one is nice, and it solves my problem of using a keyboard in a dark room.

Observe that this keyboard has both Mac OS and Windows symbols on the main keys: CMD’ALT on the same key, OPT/START on the same key. I flip back and forth between Windows and Mac OS computers, so having both symbols on the keys is actually slowing me down, and I type fast. Also, you cannot adjust the settings on the backlights other than intensity. The keys go dark right away, then light up when you hover over them. Seems like a great idea. In practice, I have to again wait on the keyboard to light up to see anything. Because of these flaws, my productivity is reduced compared to a wired OS-specific keyboard. Never again will I buy a keyboard with symbols for both operating systems on the keys.

I think this has to be the best keyboard that I have ever owned. I am satisfied with my purchase.

The keyboard works well. It has nice sensitivity for (back)lighting up when your fingers are near it. The settings are slightly different from a normal keyboard and you have to install the software to change anything. That’s getting pretty normal with just about everything, so fine. It doesn’t have anything way to adjust the angle. But I do really enjoy typing on it, and I’ve had very little stutter with it. Very, very rare. My big gripe is that there are other products in the MX line that DON’T use USB-C. So to charge both the mouse I got and the keyboard, I still have to keep two different USB cables around. (The mouse uses the USB-Mini, like a lot of older phones.) I really wish Logitech would focus on less SKUs and a better customer experience. But the keyboard itself is fine.

So far so good. It has a nice touch. Seems well built. Has the features I wanted like an illuminated keyboard. Have only used it as a bluetooth so far but plan to try the USB connection in association with a Logitech mouse that I already had

Great keyboard. The keys feel nice.

Wonderful build quality, the keys have a great firm feel to them. This keyboard is very quiet which was a plus for me. The back light is great and autodetects your hands and also audio dims. Great build quality and I would recommend to anyone.

I went from a decent standard, wireless Logitech keyboard to this MX Keys keyboard. I had used my standard keyboard for many years and the keys on my standard keyboard were beginning to stick a bit and the letters on a couple of the keys were not legible. I was not sure that I wanted to pay the higher cost for this keyboard. I am SO glad that I did. This is a great keyboard! Wish that I would have bought it sooner. Well worth the premium cost in my opinion.

This was a wise choice. I have had nothing but good experience with this product. So happy with my purchase. Only using it for email and internet but I hope to learn more about the features.
