The Logitech K800 Wireless Illuminated Keyboard is a backlit keyboard that is compatible with Windows-based PCs or laptops. The small USB receiver plugs directly into the USB port on your computer with Plug-and-Play ease, without the need for any software installation.
This keyboard offers laser-etched, backlit keys that allow you to type easily even in environments with low lighting. The backlighting is adjustable, and hand proximity detection means sensors detect your hands as they approach the keyboard to turn the backlight on and off.

I like the Logitech products and this is a good keyboard. I don’t say great because eventually it started having several issues at once – like the space bar stopped working. But, it has the features I want and it lasted pretty long for the price, so I bought another one when the last one started with the problems.

i bought this keyboard for my 85-year old mom. she likes how the keys are easily visible, the sturdy feeling of the unit, and its utter portability. the logitech k800 allows her to sit further away from the laptop she uses, and she likes the tap-in-her-lap hand position instead of typing up where the laptop sits on her table. she laughs at the idea of surfing in bed, saying it’ll make her a teenager (but you know she’s thinking about trying it). it has a rechargeable battery which lasts several days. the keyboard has good range and several controls to play music and adjust volume. it has other programmable keys–for which she has absolutely no use–which are conveniently positioned out of the way of the usual typing area. the logitech k800 also comes with a unifying receiver which frees up her few usb ports. the unit is well designed, sturdy, light, and powerful.

Nice touch to these keys, and it is of course wireless and lighted. The supplied USB cable is for charging only; keyboard operation always requires the Bluetooth dongle. Works great on Linux Mint and Windows 10.

hi im a everyday user and this keyboard is smooth the only hickup is getting used to the cap lock light it illuminates great i was tired of being kept on a wire i use my pc for everything i wanted something easy to use and to see at night without having the lights on this fits the bill fine i would recomend this to anyone who wants a wireless illuminated keyboard logitech has done it again with this idea A++++

Great keybpard! Bought to replace spouses older wireless board. She loves the backlighting so she can use it at night withour turning bright office lights on.She also likes the key feel. Cons: – none so far. B&H were great to deal with. Lowest price i could find anywhere and shipping was fast.

This keyboard has many great features: -CAPS LOCK that shows you if it’s on or not. -the ability to keep it charged to eliminate the costliness of replacement batteries and status indicator. -the back lit feature that you can modify. -the ability to change settings (love that you can turn OFF Caps Lock). -Unifying Receiver. -It’s a little more expensive (best price I’ve found is at B & H) since you can’t buy it as a keyboard and mouse combo currently but it seems well worth the price so far! Another great Logitech product!

My wife and I together own 6 computers in 2 homes, and we have been using these K800 keyboards for many years. They connect easily using the provided USB dongle, which serves as a wireless transmitter. These keyboards are comfortable and reliable, and I have never found any better. I strongly recommend them, as well as Logitech wireless mice – which you can connect to your computer using the same USB dongle, thereby controlling both keyboard and mouse using just one USB port. Very easy and convenient!

Wasn’t to sure what I wanted, so many wireless keyboards to choose from. I picked this one for the value and the logitech unify usb. No frills, works great and the charge seems to last quite a while. I did change the keyboard lighting to come on at the first key touch rather than hand detection. It’s been three weeks on the first charge and still indicates 2/3rd full.
