The Logitech K800 Wireless Illuminated Keyboard is a backlit keyboard that is compatible with Windows-based PCs or laptops. The small USB receiver plugs directly into the USB port on your computer with Plug-and-Play ease, without the need for any software installation.
This keyboard offers laser-etched, backlit keys that allow you to type easily even in environments with low lighting. The backlighting is adjustable, and hand proximity detection means sensors detect your hands as they approach the keyboard to turn the backlight on and off.

I’ve had other illuminated keyboards but they were all pretty dim and hard to see. This one laminates the keys very comfortably. The key depressions are likewise comfortable, smooth, and quite. The keyboard stays in place, doesn’t slide around easily, stable, kind of sticks in place with quality rubber pads. Oh, and it’s wireless too! Logitech quality.

The keyboard is intuitive, simply by having a hand getting close to the keyboard and it lites up, so far i’m very satisfied with the keyboard, it uses the same usb cord to recharge as the one i’m using for my Jawbone, HTC phone, once plugged in the wall and or the pc (SUB to micro usb)

This keyboard is totally awesome! I love how it has a motion sensor and will illuminate whenever your hand passes over it! The illuminating keys allow you to be productive without ever having to turn on a light! When you go to type, the keys automatically light up – it is the easiest keyboard I have ever typed on – I love the fact that it is wireless – makes it so much easier to clean. It’s a nice keyboard for typing. And the backlight is great. My only complaint is the wireless USB interferes with the the wireless USB for my mouse. After some trial and error I discovered that if one USB was plugged into the rear and one in the front then they both seemed to work fine. I have had the keyboard not want to type occasionally. Not sure if that is because of interference or something else. Generally speaking a nice keyboard.

Sure the illumination feature is cool but this keyboard just plain feels great. This is a fine keyboard. My only reservation is that the back of the keyboard is slightly raised there are no pop-up riser feet on the back and in our situation that would be very helpful.
