Designed for on-the-go professionals, the B525 HD Webcam from Logitech was built with a compact, folding design that helps simplify travel and features a universal mounting clip with a 360&dev; swivel for your laptop or other device. Able to capture resolutions 720p at 30 fps, the B525 delivers clear images in low light and maintains auto focus as close as 3.9″. Audio is transmitted using a single omnidirectional mic, while a 69° field of view composes a shot consisting of your head and shoulders. Compatible with Windows and Mac, this camera connects to your host system using an integrated plug-and-play USB 2.0 Type-A cable that also provides power via the USB bus.

Interesting design and sits pretty well on top of a flat panel monitor but the resolution is pretty low-res compared to laptop cameras we normally use (this is on an external monitor) so the picture quality people see isn’t great. Spend a little more for a better picture. Nice and compact. Cord is a bit longer than it needs to be.

ok, so I feel like this device was created for Laptops where it would probably attach well. But I have a common Dell Monitor which it should work with, but the attachment mechanism can’t handle the thickness of the top of that Monitor.

Looked like a nice device, but it never turned on. I searched for reasons why and found many others with Windows 8.1 had the same issue. Two different people from Geek Squad tried to figure out why it didn’t turn on with no success. Logitech support didn’t offer any solutions.
