   I purchased this Webcam to go with my new Mac Mini. So guess what the mini won’t ship for another month so I attached this to my Windows 10 system. Installed fast (required reboot). The picture is very good , the mount it pretty flexible and I like that it has a a tripod screw option. The price was also right for the options in my opinion.

   With the high demand for webcams during the pandemic, I had to wait 2-3 months for the C920s to come back into stock. Without fail, B&H kept me posted throughout the waiting period and notified me when the item was back in stock. The C920s seems to do the job well and unobtrusively. Set-up was a breeze on my Win 10 Pro PC — just plug it in and the software took care of the rest. Thus far, I’ve used it only with Zoom but find it well and fully supported by the Zoom app. Only minor point is that this webcam, like many, has a relatively wide angle of view. Easy to include multiple people in the same view but be careful not to sit too close to it or your face will have the same geometric distortion it gets with a wide angle lens like a 20-24 mm lens on a full frame camera. If there were a choice would prefer a field of view more like a 50 mm lens on a full frame camera.

   First webcam I purchased and it is a BIG improvement over the webcam on my laptop. Plus, I can use it anywhere I have a PC. Logitech Capture software gives me multiple ways to adjust and control the image. A must have.

   I recently purchased a Logitech C920s HD Pro Webcam to use for my Zoom meetings with my MacBook Pro laptop. Installation was easy, as I plugged it into the USB sport and the Zoom app recognized it. The picture and clarity improved much from the built-in camera on the computer and helped my presentations in my meetings.

   This was well worth a short wait for inventory to catch up (daily) to orders. It has a snug mounting bracket with optional tripod threads. The color balance improved my complexion (prior cam made me yellow). The angle of view let’s me place my laptop closer. Super resolution video and excellent sound quality. Love it.

   Many reviews say this model is the one to get. Using it on an M1 Mac Mini and it’s unusable. Every FaceTime call that comes in complains of horrible audio on their side. I have thirty years of computer hardware experience – this is not a setting or connection issue. I would not buy this device if you’re on a Mac. Haven’t bothered to try it on a PC as it’s not what I need it for.

    This is an excellent webcam for the price. I’m using this for home/work use, for meetings. Nothing too intensive. Sound and video quality are good. The auto focus is quick and mostly accurate. There are times I have to get its attention to a spot, which isn’t unexpected. I’m using this on a Linux computer running Pop_OS 20.10, and everything works right when I plug it in. I didn’t have to do any driver or configuration tweaks. The camera sits nicely at the top of my external screens, and doesn’t take up much space. The Acer monitor I’m using (model #K243Y) has a rounded back that comes up to a point near the top of the monitor. That causes the camera to not quite sit as securely to the back of the monitor. Not a fault of the camera, but something to be aware of when looking at the back of your monitor. The camera mount adjusts nicely to a variety of positions. One last detail is the privacy shutter, which is an excellent feature. It looks much nicer than putting a piece of tape over the lens. It is a separate piece that clicks onto the front of the camera. So if you don’t want the shutter, you don’t have to install it (or you can remove it if you wish).

    The C920s is plug and play. I do not have a lot of experience with webcams. I have been using built in cams on laptops and portable devices. This was easy to set up and use. You just have to set things in your computer set up and go. It is smaller and less obtrusive than I had imagined. The description does say 4 w x 1 t. It is the least expensive 1080p Logitech webcam. Picture seems fine.

    Very bright, much better than what’s built into my new Dell 7730. Has a cue light so you know it’s live. The privacy cap is a plus because it also protects the lens when folded up and tossed into the backpack. What really makes this cam is the Capture Software that comes with it. Lots of features and potential for creating training/presentation videos using multiple sources. I have not used it for live streaming yet, but see the potential in creating quick, pre-recorded presentations for uploading.

    This is a very good webcam for doing Zoom teaching. I teach a heavy load of classes and this does the job far better than the built-in webcams on computers. It is easy to change settings with their Logi Capture software. Sometimes we need to manually make the scene lighter or darker and this makes it easy to avoid overexposed Zoom scenes. It is also easy to change the aspect ratio, which makes for faster transfer rates if you ever have to use a slower wifi connection. I give it heavy use and am very satisfied with its performance.
