good speakers for their price, but obviously for great quality you need to pay. The lines are long enough to put them in a confertable place, and have a controller for power and volume. main downside is that you can’t control the sub woofer .

This system is excellent. The sound quality will not disappoint you. I played several CD’s, including one by David Hudson who plays the Didgeridoo with an Aborigine band, and it sounded like they were in the room. It rocked the walls.You can’t beat Logitech quality for the price of this speaker set. Very easy install also, I plugged them into the computer and they were ready. I was very pleased.

I got a new computer with HP and thought I might as well get some new speakers while I’m at it but I didn’t have much money. I saw these speakers and the reviews and decided to give it a try. ” if I don’t like them I’ll just take them back”. I won’t ever be giving these speakers back. The quality of these speakers are great along with the design. They don’t look or sound cheap. They are not thin plastic thats loosely screwed together, they are solid and sturdy. I don’t get the crackling noise that my old speakers got when the volume was up high and the bass is surprising for such a little system. The only beef I do have with this system is the users lack of control over the subwoofer. I love the amount of bass it puts out but I am currently in a dorm and wish I could turn the bass down instead of turning down the volume. If you don’t have the problem of living in close proximity to other people that mind bass than these speakers are great for their price. Thank you Logitech!

Not much mid’s just highs and lows and average quality. I prefer my Logitech ipod station for good sound but the logitech speaker system is easy to set up and fits nicely just about anywhere because of it’s compact size.

Great sound for the price and not too bulky, especially with a subwoofer. My only issue is that the sub needs a volume control, pehaps even a basic trimmer on the sub itself. You may have to use a media player with an eq if the bass is too strong. Other than that, the system sounds excellent for the money.

Excellent speakers with subwoofer, except for the lack of a separate volume control for the subwoofer. If I want to damp the bass response without damping the mid-treble, I have to do something like put a pillow over the subwoofer. That’s why I rated it 4-star instead of 5.

I guess you get what you pay for. These speakers are very cheap and they sound cheap. They are tuned to give mostly bass and there is no way to adjust the bass on them. I don’t mean that they give an awesome bass sound, they don’t. It’s just that the higher tones are eliminated. It makes listening to spoken word not so good. And listening to music is not so good either because there is no ‘fullness’ to the sound. Either find better sounding cheap speakers or spend a little extra and get some real speakers.

These are excellent speakers, sound is great and the manual control for sound, on/off which is supplied in the separate pad is a bonus. Very pleased with these, look nice too and sub woofer is a nice size and produces excellent sound. Would recommend these to anyone as a desktop sound system.

The configurator made it seem as though we needed external speakers for the HP 27 AIO, but that PC has internal speakers which sound just fine, so I returned these unopened within the 21 day grace period. I had ordered the cheapest speakers available. I’ve no idea how well these perform, but boy, from the picture on the box they really look cheap! The web picture looks much better.

I use the speakers for my home laptop and personal use while listening to music and other audio clips. The sound quality is pretty good given that the system is relatively cheap at $. The sound itself can be a little hollow at times, though.
