The Logitech G PRO Gaming Headset is designed to provide users with eSports-grade features for pro gamers. It’s built with 50mm neodymium drivers and a detachable boom mic for clear communication. Comfort-wise, it has an adjustable headband and memory foam leatherette earpads. A USB sound card is included with this headset, so users can fine tune their audio settings and even apply them on other systems. A 4-pole 3.5mm cable is included, as well as a 3.5mm Y-splitter for systems with mic and headphone jacks.

I’m not an audiophile but I felt the sound was decent. I used an amplifier to give the low end a little more oomph. No one complained about the sound quality of the microphone. This headset felt more weighty than my old, cheap ones so I was impressed at the start but the novelty quickly wore off. This is a closed earcup so your ears won’t breath – combined with the weight of the device, you won’t want to wear it more than an hour at a time… it’s really uncomfortable for long sessions. Just an hour ago the left cup stopped producing sound. I swapped audio sources, swapped and tested the cables; it seems there’s a problem with the headset itself. I’m a little miffed but also a little relieved. Time to find something more comfortable. The next set will be something that’s easy to maintain/mod. Maybe the Fostex T50RP MKIII and an after market mic? I’m keeping the body of the Logitech headset for a DIY project, it’s pretty solid so it should be fun to work with.

Pros: – Feels luxurious, solid, and comfortable – Seems to be made of high quality material – Splitter cable included Cons: – Mic literally does not work (tried on Xbox Series X, Xbox One S, and Windows 10 PC) On paper, this should be a good product. Unfortunately with half of its core functionality broken, I have no choice but to recommend against it.

This headset is easily the best headset out of the few I’ve used for gaming. The Logitech G Hub software lets you customize the sound of the headset to your liking and if you’re not sure what you like there are plenty of presets you can download and try to see what you like best. The headset has slight pressure when you put them on but I haven’t experienced any pain or headaches from it and I’ve been using them daily about 8-12 hours with no issue. Super comfortable and an amazing quality headset for the price.

Sound Ok but faulty contacts, makes it a challenge to listen in succession
