The end hook is magnetic, allowing for 1-man measurements of steel framing and drop ceiling grids and the hook also serves as a pick-up tool. The tape blade is coated for longer life. The casing has a non-slip, co-molded rubber grip for greater control.

Some people don’t like the fact that the magnetic end is slotted, but it gives a more accurate measurement either pushing or pulling. The blade locks out automatically and you just squeeze your hand comfortably to release the lock.

The tape has very nice sized numbers for easy reading but the tape does not stay secured (after extension) ALL the time. The bottom compression lever is good as compared to the front lock; also like the color for ease in finding.
