This is an accurate measure that give the subdivisions. It is great for the helper that does not know them. The problem I have seen with it is that the FEET marks are very difficult to see, so it is not my favorite. I prefer an older lufkin that I own for that but in cutting boards this works ok. I always use the same tape that my helper (11 year old son) has, so I do the best I can to work with him and it has been helping him see the subdivisions and his eyes are far better than mine, so he can see the feet marking with no problem.

The tape measure is very good I can find nothing wrong with it except for the markings for the feet they are definitely very small and you have to search for it. Other than that I think it will work well.

Decent tape measure for inside the house. Used it for a couple projects and then it wouldn’t go back in past 7feet. The yellow paint chips are all over flaking off the tape measure. Would not suggest this for any real use on job sites or anything outdoors. I’ll be lucky to get another week out of mine.

This is my second Lufkin self centering tape. After over ten years of use the old one wouldn’t retract. Love the centering markings. Great for hanging pictures and other things. You know it’s centered in the space.

As others have said, the foot markings aren’t the easiest to see. The hi-viz is nice to help quickly spot it, but the FatMax tapes are easier to use.
