Metal tape blades suffer from one fatal flaw, they can be stepped on and ended. One misstep by a work boot and it is all over.Thus, it is useful to be able to order a replacement and pick it up when it arrives. The pick-up locker system seems to work well at Home Depot.

This is an amazing product. I had a 50 ft. tape that my father gave me many many years ago. I had used it so much that I wore it out and it broke. I was afraid I would have to use the tape with 8′ 3″ missing. But I found this replacement, ordered it, and it fit in the case perfectly. Now I’m back in business!
