The Lufkin Pro Series 300 ft. Ny-Clad Steel Measuring Tape is designed for taking long measurements where precision matters. Unlike fiberglass long tapes the Nylon Clad Steel blades will not stretch out over time. This 300 ft. L tape has jet black markings on a yellow blade for easy-to-read measurements. The signature Hi-Viz Orange case can be found on nearly any job site.

Good case, excellent re-wind mechanism. A light breeze picks up the tape and twists it. I need extreme accuracy, but I could find no manufacturer’s specs on accuracy. A friend paid NIST to calibrate a similar tape a couple of years ago. The 300′ tape was nearly one inch short.
