Had this for a week, and have used it a few times. Grew up with these folding measuring sticks, and there are times that they are very handy compared to a tape measure. Appears to have good construction so far.

What I was looking for

There were 5. I bought the one that was the least bowed. Not what they use to be thanks to China manufacturing.

was bought mostly to have a remembrance to the times when I helped my dad do carpenter work when I was a small child, in the early 1960’s but is a good product for any one wanting to use that type of ruler.

Just what I needed for tube bending. Has the handy depth gauge which I did not have on my other folding rule.

I have been using the Lufkin ruler for 50 years and the the only reason why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 stars is that the brass ruler is looser than I have experienced in my older ruler.

It does the job – nice buy

I have had my Lufkin rule for over 59 years, long enough that its maximum distance is 5’ 6”. I wanted my grandson to have this ingenious inside measuring device, and I was happy to find that it is still well made and pretty much made as mine was 69 years or so ago.

The brass plated joints and brass end caps to prevent ends from splintering is a great feature, also the 1/16th graduations. Great quality product – thanks!

I have a lot of pieces of wood to cut that require inside measurements, so this tool is ideal.

When needing to be precise with measurements I use this ruler. It’s not really for construction site use but more of a cabinet making use. The slide works perfect as well as the pivots.

Easy to use and the price was right.

The best 6′ wooden rule I ever owned, my favorite brand. I do prefer the inside reading version, as I am left handed and have found it is better for me.
