These candles burned cleanly, without soot going into the air, and burned for many hours over time. I burn my candles for six to eight hours every evening and each of these medium size candles lasted a few weeks. The smell of each of this set is feminine without being cloying, but there is not much fragrance to any of them, and fragrance is the reason I burn them. I find the cheap Glade candles much more fragrant.
