We’re using this unit to print name tags for hosts doing wine tours. If you know how to use photoshop, this will be easy, just install drivers, plugin printer and design your ID / name tag – when you hit print select the “Pronto” unit and it will automatically size down the graphic to the size of the card. Name tags are much smaller than the ID’s but not to worry, a good quality paper cutter will slice it right up. Remember to hold it steady or it can swivel while cutting and you’ll get a crooked name tag. Otherwise then all you need is the magnetic backing which you can get on Ebay or Amazon (not BH, but I wish they would). It’s an easy workflow and a decent quality printer – It’s not the highest quality, so photos of people would look a bit fuzzy if you look closely. Also on white name tags there is some yellowish tinting like some of the die got transferred where it shouldn’t have, although I don’t know if that will be an ongoing issue.
