The adapter needed a small diameter bit extension for the unit to work. The device doesn’t include this part. The 3”extension in kit B-53970 doesn’t fit. Still looking for one that will work. Other than this the unit is well made. I may have to take it to the store and try out their other extensions

I bought it for my dad for Christmas. He loves it and wants to buy more of them. He says it works great. He needed a magnetic bit holder though (it does not come with the product).

Great add on for the money, wish they sold it in stores. Does great with straight in screws but not with ones you need to angle

This adapter work perfect for my Makita impact! I was going to buy a new tool but I’m only going to use it probably one time to do a project and couldn’t justify buying an entire tool. This does exactly what I needed it to do. The only problem is you have to have a magnetic bit driver that is specificin length for it to work. After contacting Makita they gave me the correct part number 784801 – 1. It is a 3 in magnetic bit holder. If you do not have a 3 inch magnetic bit holder it will not work. I believe this was about $20 and I saved $80 not having to buy an entire tool.
