I bought this dust extractor nozzle for my Makita XTR01 18V router. It fits like a glove and is pretty easy to get it on and off. You do have to flex it slightly to get around the buckle on the base, but no big deal. It covers the side opening of the base but it is completely clear so you can still see in no problem. The connection for the vac or dust extrac system comes off the left side with the base opening facing the user. So it is easier for the right hander to use it, but you can still get a grip around it with the left hand. Of course you could spin it around and put the connection on the right but you couldn’t see into the base but that is not always necessary. The vac connection fits my 1 1/2″ OD vac hardware without problems. It’s a good piece of kit !
