This attachment does several things. It adds needed length, because I found myself stopping without it. The cyclonic action is visible through the clear housing. As I’ve used it, the dust and debris collects in the collector, and very little escapes to the filter, preserving suction force. The collector is easily removed for emptying. I like it. There’s a line indicating when to empty it. Made in Japan.

I wish I’d have known about this accessory before burning out the motor of my vacuum. However, since the vacuum still works and just smells burnt this cyclone attachment is helping with keeping almost everything out of the filter.Big thumb up!

Works well. It collects most of the dirt you vacuum so you do not need to put a new disposable bag in as often. Without the cyclonic vacuum attachment, you would have to change the small disposable bags very often. I would buy again. Excellent

Was unsure when I got it. This thing is awesome. It collects everything and nothing gets through to the main chamber of my vacuum. Because the filter in the main chamber of my vacuum is always empty the runtime is extended. Also the suction stays powerful until the end. Easy to empty and cool to watch. The good thing is that I have adapted this to be used on my cordless ridgid vac also so it doesn’t just have to be for a makita vac. Totally worth the money.

Works well, sometimes attachment can come loose so just make sure it’s deeply secured. Changes the balance of the vacuum in the hand but does its job well.
