I have Makita everything but this is the first Makita table saw I have bought. I’m using it to build kitchen cabinets right now for a customer. It has the shortest cutting distance from the last three table saws I have owned. The fence guide seems to have a lot of slop in it while adjusting but will lock down firmly and on point. The one great thing about the saw is the high RPMs on 110 outlet can’t seem to feed it to much like a beaver in the forest!

I bought the saw 5 months ago and have been very happy with it. It’s been quite accurate, sturdy, and reliable. I bought separately the extension wing for outfeed support and find that very helpful.

Back in the 80s I had purchased a Makita portable table saw still have that saw This new Makita table saw has a lot of new features and same old toughness more money well worth the investment

Didn’t want to buy this yet, but a project made it hard to avoid. My previous experiences with table saws I’ve never really thought of them as precision-type tools. But this Makita gave me far more accuracy than I’ve ever had in a TS before. Cuts more accurately than my Dewalt miter.

I have not used the saw a lot just yet, but I like it very much so far. The saw is pretty quiet, and I like the blade brake. The saw blade goes up and down real easy, and the fence seems to be reliable. The set up was easy, and the saw works well. I wish the directions for storing the accessories were a little better, but over all I like the saw.

I would buy this table saw again, it works great

The saw is excellent except I purchased it thinking it would be like the Makita 2703 or 2702 models. I need a work site table saw that is smaller and lighter. The 2705 is too heavy to lug around even with the portable table that I also purchased. It doesn’t fit in my truck very well either.

The Saw performance and quality of cut are excellent. I rated this as good due to the dust connection. It does collect quite a bit of saw dust but there’s more that comes out the front and underneath the saw. This an issue since I mounted the saw on a table. Now it required an opening through the table for saw dust.

I bought this saw after having to return several others for fence alignment issues. I decided to spend the extra money to rid myself of the headaches of setting them up and returning the lesser brands. I’m so happy I did. this saw is quiet, strong and has the deepest cutting depth of its class. Definitely a good saw for the money.

I needed to mill some 2″ oak into 2×4’s and 2×2’s. My 10″ Craftsman table saw I didn’t even try as I knew it would be a struggle to mill this 2″ oak and I didn’t want to get into a position that could be dangerous. This Makita 10 inch table saw was up to the task and did the job with ease. Not quite like butter but for oak it really did a good job. I look forward to many years of good service from this saw. Once I saw the size of this table saw I ordered the Makita stand also. They work great together as the saw is to big to move around without a movable stand. A bit more money for this saw and stand. Very nice saw and I would do it again. This was worth the money.

Would have gotten five stars if it could be fitted with a zero clearance throat plate. I think that is a should be.

Easy to assemble. Cuts true and much better than my old table saw. The table is the right size and the extension is simple to use. The rip fence is solid and simply to use. You won’t be disappointed with this saw
