This saw worked great on 3cm granite with very little dust. My only concern is that the saw is advertised as having a 13 amp motor. The Makita data also says 13 amps but the data plate on the saw says 10 amps. Which is it?

Makes a nice cut. I wish the blade size was more standard. While the bag does collect dust, there is still a lot that goes floating through the air. I used this with the guide track adapter so I got a nice straight cut.

It did it’s job for what we purchased it for.

I used this to cut out cracked cement joints on my brick patio. The dust vacuum really reduced debris and the saw cut easily through cement while the the adjustable depth made sure I didn’t cut too deep. This was really cheap compared to other masonry saws but this is certainly not an inferior product; it’s just a genuine bargain.

This saw is perfect for a DIYer. We are building retaining walls in our back yard and while a larger saw may get the job done a bit faster, this price was perfect for our budget. Buy with confidence.

Stable and minimal vibration during cut of a 1.25 in thick granite. Slow and steady, don’t rush the cut.

It cuts through concrete like butter at shallow depths, works a bit harder when you cut deeper. The dust collection bag does collect some dust, but often you want to cut with the wind facing you because it doesn’t collect enough to keep decent visibility on your work.

Great tool. I used it to take down a brick pony wall. Made the jib much easier.
