The 5007°F is ideal for a range of framing and cutting applications. The 5007°F has a powerful 15 Amp motor and a high power-to-weight ratio, with all ball bearing construction and a heavy-gauge aluminum wraparound base engineered for improved durability and straighter cuts. The 5007°F has a large cutting capacity (2-3/8 in. at 90°, 1-3/4 in. at 45° ) with a maximum bevel capacity of 0° – 45° for the most common angles. I’ve only had this saw for a few days and I love it. It is built solid, is made of metal with little if any plastic parts. The best and most important thing is that it makes nice smooth straight cuts! It doesn’t wobble around like other cheaper saws. If you use a straight edge guide then you can get straight clean cuts! I used it to cut plywood, 1×4’s, and 2x4s and it worked great. It is kinda heavy but no biggie. It’s really not that loud either.

Well made, sturdy unit with a powerful motor. Doesn’t have the now popular laser guide system, but I always look to see where the blade is heading anyhow. A little heavy for these old muscles, but manageable nonetheless. A good value for the money and well worth it to have a solid piece of equipment that will last for years.
