The Makita 5007MG 7-1/4 in. Magnesium Circular Saw features highly durable magnesium components and a powerful 15 AMP Makita-built industrial motor. The 5007MG seamlessly balances weight, power, durability and ease of use, making it the most refined circular saw on the market. A built-in dust blower clears the line of cut for more accurate and precise cuts. The 5007MG is built for framing walls, floors and roofs using a range of dimensional lumber and dense engineered lumber, including LVL, PSL and I-Joists, headers and microlams; as well as ripping panels such as plywood, OSB, particle board and dense structural panels. Other applications include plunge and bevel cutting. The 5007MG includes a Makita 7-1/4 In. Premium Ultra-Coated Framing Blade with Advance Tooth Design. The “M” shaped tooth design features a two-pointed tip and two 10° bevel face to maximize cutting performance for a faster, cleaner and longer lasting cut. The carbide tips are specifically set to withstand the harshest conditions such as plowing through nail-embedded wood. The blade is also ultra-coated to reduce heat and pitch build-up for faster, smoother cutting, with special Makita heat vents strategically set to dissipate heat and increase performance. This Promotion also comes with a bonus AN924 21° Full Round Head 3-1/2 in. Framing Nailer.

Trigger is adjustable to easily switch from single nail fire or multiple nail fire trigger pull just by clicking knob up or down into desired firing method. Keep an eye on the nail clips when loading into nailer as you release catch slide watch to be sure it caught nail clip properly and didn’t push the back of the clip up out of alignment with rail. Doesn’t happen very often just something I’ve noticed with my use of this nailer.

My first circular saw. I’m glad I did my homework and chose this one. High quality build. Everything was square and true out of the box. Stock blade cuts well. I like that the light stays on when the saw is plugged in and it doesn’t start until the trigger is fully pulled. I found it very easy to use for a first timer. The case is excellent and provides a nice place to set the saw down between cuts.

if you read reviews that are less than 5 stars, don’t believe them. Buy a diablo blade with this saw since you are spending 160 bucks anyway. No other brand comes even close to the comfort, STABILITY, lack of vibration and concise cuts that this saw delivers. I have used green, yellow and red brands (reds my personal fav) but they don’t come close to this sweet ride.

Saw is good but I thought it comes with dust collection attachment. Big disappointment it doesn’t. Called makita customer service, he said due legal issues they don’t sell attachment to this model. Suggested to buy 5008mg for which dust collector attachment can be bought in US separately. Returned it.
