This review after 3 weeks of use. Over all is a well built product but it is heavy for all day use. It has a jitters at the start.

Lots of power. Quiet. Well balanced. Accurate. My wife likes the color. I have cut over 3000 linear feet of different thickness both hard and soft woods and it just cuts with ease. I have had Skill, Rockwell, B&D and this Makita is the best. The price was right and value for the money is As and +s.

It work just as expected.

Works great. It’s a little heavier than some of the others but it is a quality saw. I put a Diablo blade on it right out of the box and couldn’t be more pleased.

This is a nice saw. The base is very stable. It is powerful and easy to make clean cuts. I thought it would be awkward when I first looked at it. But after a few cuts I got the hang of it. I definitely have a preference for cut side / direction. It is my go to saw now.

Plenty of power, has better balance than you would think with most of the weight on the right side of the blade. Very happy so far.

First time owner and user of a circular saw. Used it to cut 2×4 and plywood and it did great. Feels like it weighs less than a gallon of milk.Adjustment levers are pretty stiff, which gives them a good hold even though they are a little tougher to free up than I’d like. This saw would get 5 stars if it had a longer cord and laser guide. Overall very happy with it.

This saw is a big upgrade from 1980’s Skilsaw model 77. Substantially lighter and the shoe is flat, slippery, and easy to adjust. The torque jerk on startup is much reduced so the saw stays where you put it before cutting. It seems quieter and has done all the tasks I’ve put it to.

One of the best Circular saws I’ve had my hands on. It’s sturdy and solid. The finish on everything feels pristine, and it glides across boards with ease. Just heavy enough to solidly weigh itself down, but not so heavy it is cumbersome.

This item was purchased as a gift for a family member starting construction on his new home. He was and has been highly enthused and satisfied with the saw. There are no complaints or issues over the first several uses. However, I do wish that it came with a case and that the tools could be remotely located there

After retiring from the building trades using Makita power tools for many years I did not hesitate to replace an older saw with this. Purchased the first one about 6 months ago and worked great until it got dropped of the edge of a roof from 12 feet up and hit the concrete corner wise. I went into Home Depot and bought a new one the next day. Kept the broken one for parts. Love the rubber covered large thumb levers for fast adjustments. The base plate is dead flat and square to the blade out of the box. The blade change wrench is right there when I need it and removes the blade nut quickly. Have cut 3/4″ plywood and studs like silk as long as you keep the blade out of nails path on remodel work. Have not seen any motor lag in dry lumber. Would buy another if this one disappears or drops off a roof again.

The box was beat up from shipping but the drill works great so far. Plenty of power. No complaints
