Excellent bit for digging. Used it to help dig a 11×16 pond. It did a great job of carving the shapes and benches. The tip of the spade came sharp. It is heavy duty. I was digging in moderately soft soil but I would imagine the bit being great for tough conditions. I bought primarily because it fit the harbor frieight tool.

The item is made well, but has a poor design element. As a shovel like tool, for busting weak asphalt or even used as a derooting shovel, the bit is just too short. So it makes work harder. I saw a longer version but does not fit the TR demo hammer. If you find a longer one, I would get that. Otherwise it works great.
